...or it seems that way. I'm still here, reading House fanfics like a mad person...I like to stay caught up lol

Lotta randomness up ahead:

Been snowing quite a bit, snow is still here. Driving is fun when you can't see the road *sigh* One of the first snow days, Dad didn't want me driving to work because of ice and stuff. Funny, but the roads were pretty much clear in town. I was feeling lazy, so I let him drive me in.
Well, turns out, after he dropped me off, he went to store. When he go back into car (mine) it would not start. He had to have it towed. It looked to be a problem with the fuel pump not wanting to work...the guy said he was able to get it semi-working again by tapping on it, but recommended getting a new one. Parts and labor=over 700 bucks *sobs* So I am pretty much broke now. Funny that it was the one day that I didn't drive myself to work. I would have flipping panicked if the car refused to star on me!

Moving on. Was a library staff meeting last Saturday. Not much that involved me and my lowly position, but they did talk a bit about the new library that we are going to get. In case you don't know...as soon as we get the funding, our library is getting torn down and a new one built in its place. Estimated time=8months to a year. Once we get 95% of the money needed, we will move everything to the building across the street's basement...a community building of some sort, can't remember. But on Wednesdays we can't have children programms because of some court stuff going on. Fuun. And we don't even know if all of us will have a job there for that time. Some of us might have to work at another library to get our hours in. Going to be much smaller while we wait on construction, so might not need all of us. And there are only 6 of us. Only 2 shelvers, so I hope I can stay. I love working over at Centralia on Sundays, but the staff are mostly subs, so that makes it fun. It gets so hectic there other times.
We are hoping to get the building started during the good weather. *deep breath* I am the type who will flip out if not involved in the moving process...I need to know where everything is at. If books just tossed in random boxes, I will flip.

Looking forward to the Tritter-free House episodes. As much as I didn't mind Tritter, he wore out his welcome...just wish he could have gone out with a bang rather than a pop.

Watched a series called Black Books. Well, the first series--6 episodes. Quite funny. Has Bill Bailey in it, who I enjoyed from his few eps on QI.

24 is sure off to a great start! Wow! That bit where the guy was kicked from subway was awesome! (Keeping details down so not to spoil much lol.) Looking forward to the return of Prison Break! American Idol makes me question my sanity for enjoying it so much. The brother and sister who made it...I am rooting for those two.

I managed to burn my knuckle pretty bad. On the metal thingy under the dishwasher. Was trying to retrieve a spoon...forgot it was hot under there. Doesn't really hurt too bad unless I bend finger bad or rub it against something. Skin is cracked and a little infected. It hurts more like a cut rather than a burn, which I am thankful for. I also got a very nasty paper cut between my first finger and thumb. So when ever I grab something, it automatically brushes against it. I find that more painful than that burn.

I went to see Rocky Balboa on Monday. It was much better than I expected. A couple years ago I was a huge fan of the firs tcouple movies. I did hate all the backstory and flashbacks, and I don't think it said what happened to Adrian. Sure showed enough flashbacks of her. Also the callbak to the meat punching *sigh* It didn't even make sense to keep it in since Paulie was no longer working at that place. Then when they showed the flashback of that scene when he was fighting at the end? OMG rediculois! And they said he couldn't do running training because of his knees...not more than 5 minutes later he was running. Movie not the same without it, but did get a errr?? moment. Enjoyable at least :)

I think that is about all...so I will leave you all with a meme (I'm kind lol)

Well, I wore an appropriate shirt today/yesterday:
Good Morning is an Oxymoron.
First, I set alarm clock to wake me at 10. I turned it off and slept until 11:30 (oopsie).

Then at work, I was upstairs no more than 10 minutes when I got word that Mom had fallen outside. She was bringing my G'ma to the library to get some books, and slipped on the pavement. Smacked the back of her head and screwed up her back pretty nasty. I went out there for a few minutes to talk to her, then went inside and sat on the floor next to G'ma's chair to get her to calm down some. She was pretty upset by the whole thing. I managed to get her to wander around to get some library books.
Went back outside to see what was going on and, joy, there was an ambulance there. Corine (my boss) had called one in to give Mom a check over and make sure everything was fine. She (Corine) said she had to practically sit on Mom to keep her from getting out of the car, trying to stall her while the ambulance was en route. (Love her protective Jewish-mother side, hee)
So Mom was checked out, and signed a waver that meant no 'fun' ambulance ride for her.
Dad showed up a little afterwards and we both offered to take G'ma home and drive Mom home, etc. But she insisted (stubborness runs in the family...she is always complaining about G'ma being stubborn) on taking G'ma to get groceries.
And I went back to work. Seemed like the most excitement that had happened lately. Got asked about things from all 4 coworkers at seperate times. Corine kept telling me not to worry and such, but I felt strangely calm. Almost too laid back, and that is a little worrying.
After work, had the ususal lunch, then went home. Was relieved that Mom had made it back home in one piece...or at least any many pieces as she had left the library in. When she pulled out of the library lot, I was standing with Dad and we both saw she almost hit a car. I asked him if he wanted to shadow her. I think he was tempted.
When got home, Dad was hosing out the gutters. On a ladder. I hollered to him that he had better not fall off or I shall hurt him. Mom was napping. She can barely move. Says she has a bruise pretty much from shoulders to butt. Going to be real worse in the morning after laying down all night.

So, yeah. That was my day. I really shouldn't type out entries when I am feeling rather sarcastic. Tense situations seem to bring out the joker in me.
