I still can't get over how crappy House was. I was willing to give this Huddy thing a try in the hopes that the writers could make it work, or at least make it believable. NOPE. Hugh looked bored. I want my sarcastic asshole of a doctor back!
I would rather have a whole episode be about 13's Huntingtons (though part of that may be due to me not hating 13 as much as everyone else)
Remember when everyone was dreading Love Hurts because House was going on a date with Cameron? It turned out to be one of my favorite eps (after Three Stories and Babies and Bathwater). I want a POTW case that makes you actually care for the patients, be a sobbing wreck when one of them dies (B&BW).
I think the show died with Kutner.

Monday, July 5th, 2010 01:29 amI was poking around at old vids on YT and came across one for House. It was made in 2007 and...I just don't recognize the characters any more, they have changed to much since then. What happened to the characters I used to love? I want to ignore all the shit that has happened in the last two season and have my show back :'(

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008 12:10 amUugh, House was boring, except for ( cut for spoilers )
I found Carmen Sandiego!

She was hiding in a stack of cards/pictures that I haven't looked at in like 3-4 years.

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 04:53 amThey are kinda an ugly bunch, aren't they? At least the title lines up.
I am soo pissed there are no bloopers!! I live for bloopers!
Eureka---FUCK!!
And...appariently, this is my 1005th LJ entry...oops, missed the big 1000th post lol
I had to mail a few packages today and the total came up to $6.66.
I met Dad in town before work and I read some of my book while I waited, I was on page 66 when he showed.
He dropped me back off exactly 66 minutes before I needed to work.
I spent the time before work reading, and left off on page 105 (1+5=6)
Weird.

Tuesday, July 22nd, 2008 05:10 amI've been digging around in my House folder--the one with all the incomplete stories. Makes me sad...there are so many ideas that were good in there...and still are good. I found a couple that only need a little work...might post them up soon.
I bought a case for my Zune so I wouldn't have to worry about it getting scuffed up in my travels:

It came in a box this big:

which is actually smaller than the box the device came in. I reused that box to mail out about 7 books today.

Fic: Time of Death
Sunday, May 25th, 2008 03:20 pmI wrote this almost a year ago. I was digging around through my old fics and found it. It was a little rough, which is probably why I never posted it. Reading back over it, I kinda like it. Very different format than I am used to writing. Heed the warnings.
Title: Time of Death
Rating: R
Pairing: House and Wilson
Word Count: 579
Summary: A week is a long time when you lose someone you love
Warnings: Death fic
Disclaimer: *checks* Nope, don't own them.

So I wrote drabble :D Seems ages since I have.
Thanks to Daas for the read through and help :)

Dream Time
Wednesday, February 27th, 2008 02:34 amI actually had a dream that was fandom related. Unfortunately, it happened like 15 hours ago, so I don't remember much of it *sigh*
But the biggie part was that something happened to Wilson. I think he was in a hospital bed, with House standing back and near the foot of the bed. Dunno who I was...maybe a doctor? Anyway, we were watching to find out of Wilson was 'brain dead' from whatever had happened to him...(there was some race through the library that I work at on Sundays in the 'previous scene' to this, but no House cast there). Wilson had just woken up and had said "Hi" which was no form of conformation, appariently.
Then Mom woke me up (which was probably the only reason why I remembered it at all). I was still able to doze enough to be put back into that dream spot, so back to the waiting game--all us staring at Wilson. Then Mom kept telling me to get out of bed--grrrr!--and I could not concentrate enough to focus and finish it up myself :-/
And, at about 8am (Mom woke me at 11), a poster started to fall off my wall (I have several movie posters up). It tell about half way and freaked me and Ki (I could feel her tense up). Then about 10 minutes later--after I was mostly asleep--it fell all the way. I felt the cat leap off my bed and flee.
Now my eyes hurt and my vision keeps blurring...yet I need to finish flist and I am determined to finish the last 18 pages of a book I have been trying to get through.
And my autocomplete for tags decides it doesn't want to work for me. Ever.

I love this episode!
Saturday, February 9th, 2008 07:36 pm"Did he kiss her or did she kiss him?"
Kutner: "I missed it, the lab tech with the stud ring showed up."
I'm finally getting to see this episode again. Haven't put up a review because it has pretty much been covered every which way already. And it was almost too good to be true :D
Sad that I don't think this episode will ever be topped :(

Boring update
Sunday, November 25th, 2007 02:21 amWell, might not be too boring...all depends I guess.
Wow...over 2 weeks since I have updated. Yes, I fail. Speaking of, gave up on NaNo yet again this year. Was stuck around 2200 words. Doubled from last year I guess. I got sidetracked by RPS writing, then a Cake fic (none of which have gotten finished yet). I was looking back over a few things in the past I have written, and I can't believe I wrote them. Not that they were bad, but that they actually seemed better than what I am doing now. Kinda depressing. I need to take nots from myself, methinks.
I haven't really jabbered about this, but I have been a huge fan of the play Bare: A Pop Opera for several years now...or more. Recently, an album was finally put out that includes the whole play--since like 90% of the thing was sung--and this even includes the dialogue bits and a bonus DVD. Not the original cast except for the gal who played Ivy. I got mine sent to me a few days ago and I can. Stop. Listening. To. It. Thrilled about that.
My last paycheck was like 4 times the amount that I normally make since I worked 40 hours one week and 38 the next to cover for a coworker who had a death in the family. Not sure if I liked doing 8-10 hour days, but the money was sure worth it. Schedule is all normal until December.
I work 5 hours every Sunday in winter, and also in December, the place I work is getting new carpeting, so it will be closed most of the month. I still have no idea if I will be working those Sundays there or not...I was told that we may be used to help clean up, etc. I hope so--50 odd bucks plus I am nosy and want to see what is going on ^.^
What else....
We now have a Walgreens next to Walmart. Went there first time today. Found out I can order digital prints online from them for cheaper than anyplace else. Also that they have life sized stuffed dogs for 10-20 bucks. Would take up a corner of my bedroom, but I still want one lol.
I picked up a few decorations for my room. Got a plastic bunch of Pointsetta flowers that I broke apart to...stick places. I have some green garland pieces left over from a few years ago that I drapped over the top of my bookselves. Strunh a few flowers in there and it looks pretty good. So cluttered around here that I can't do much else. Might buy a mini tree to something *shrugs*
I met with
michelleann68 at McDonalds Thursday as she passed through to visit family for TGing. Had a nice chat and she had bought a present for Ki--a stocking filled with cat toys--to replace the ones lost in The Bug Incident*.
*The Bug Incident--Ki's box where we keep some catfood, random toys and other stuff we don't use any more--I had puleld out one of her burried toys to find these little bugs crawing all over it (naturally I squeaked and dropped it). After stalling for over a week--yes, I didn't want to go in there--I hauled the box outside and started digging. I had seen the same bugs when, at the other house, Mom used to leave Mindy (house dog)'s food lying in the ground. It attracted all these bugs, that looked like half-sized pill bugs, and we had to stop doing it.
I had no idea how long they had been in there. Pulled out several bags of food that hadn't been opened, and a couple toys and a brush that were on top.
Mom likes to buy these pouches of soft cat treats and she leaves them open because she has a hard time opening them. Didn't t ake long before I found a pouch filled with those bugs (I am cringing as I type). So I tossed all the open packages, then poked around until I could get to the bottom of the box. And ewww...there was like an inch of dead bugs in the bottom. I refused to try to save anything else (except a bouncy ball that looked semi-clean) and tossed the box in our field so Dad could burn it.
So. Now we have a smaller box, and I need to make sure Mom doesn't go overboard with buying treats faster than we feed Ki. I also got another small box for toys, since Ki now has more than she knows what to do with. She looked very confused when I dumped all the toys at her paws. Been playing with her a lot the past few days. As I walked over to Pea (laptop) a little bit ago, she was on my bed and reached out to snag my shirt, asking me to play lol.
That was more than I wanted to remember about The Bug Incident.
House--Loved last week's. First time in a long while that I enjoyed a POTW. Too bad he was unconscious for most of the last half. I am thinking that that is why House hasn't been as good lately--the POTW's are all boring and I don't care if they live or not.
But I was hoping that, for the one time that it was Lupis, that it would be more...dramatic?
