Sherlock Minisode and Hobbit
Thursday, December 26th, 2013 12:18 amFirstly, the minisode was awesome! I didn't have high hopes, thinking it would just be something with a few of the minor cast, not actually being a bride between the two series. Very cool! John doesn't have his 'stache yet, so there is still time before the season starts.
Hobbit time!
Minor spoilers, but will put behind a cut.

Fifth Estate
Wednesday, October 30th, 2013 06:34 pmSince I am visiting Michelle in Seattle and 5th Estate wasn't showing in my town, I ditched my friend (well, she wasn't interested in seeing it anyway), and walked the mile to the theater.
I had real low expectations due to all the bad publicity and the bad reviews I had been hearing. But...I actually enjoyed it. The acting all around was great. If you are seeing it for Benedict, you should be happy. The movie did seem a bit long, but it had a consistent pace, so I am not sure where it could have been shaved down.
I'm sad it didn't do better in the theater. I think all the bad reviews kept people away. This isn't an action movie. There isn't going to be a lot of explosions and running about.
I really enjoyed the beginning of it, which showed briefly how technology has changed over the years.
I wasn't all that familiar with Wikileaks so I felt a little lost at times, but explaining things would have slowed it down further. And I think to people who are really familiar with what went down with Wikileaks might be a little bored already.
( Cut for some minor spoilers )

Vid: Last Night on Earth - Third Star
Monday, April 15th, 2013 02:17 amHeard this song and it reminded me so much of the movie Third Star that I listened to it 5 times in a row, each time trying to talk myself out of attempting a vid for it...I obviously failed lol.
Third Star is about James (played by Benedict Cumberbatch) who has terminal cancer and has less than a year to live. He goes on a road trip with his three friends to his favorite place on earth.
Title: Last Night on Earth
Pairing: Miles/James
Song: Roses by Darren Hayes
Thanks:

Frankenstein
Monday, April 23rd, 2012 05:06 pmI had e-mailed SIFF several times about if they will be getting in the encore Frankenstein in June and have yet to hear back (they are organizing their foreign film festival, so I understand them being busy).
So last night I e-mailed National Theatre Live, since they list that SIFF will be showing it. I got a reply in under an hour :D
It will be showing 4 times in July *dances*

Pictures of Benedict Cumberbatch, then and now
Sunday, February 26th, 2012 11:58 pmOkay, I went a bit crazy. Was just going to grab a picture from every year I can...and that turned into grabbing a picture from every role, movie and theatre that I could. And then I went and added my favorite pic from every photo shoot! XD
Lots of pictures ahead! Some I took myself from the source, some were youtube clips, and some were from Google.
Please correct me if I have any wrong.
(Warning: Possible spoilers for upcoming roles)
( We begin with a baby pic )
