Normally, it is an easy task because money never stays in there too long, as I send it off to pay credit cards and things, but I am completely baffled here.

Every once and awhile, I circle a number total in my checkbook, which is confirmed by the website on how much I have in the bank. I balance up the last few transactions and subtractions...and the balance on the website shows I have 40 more dollars than I should have.

I double checked my checkbook.
I used a calculator on the website and went back to my last circled date and retotaled up everything on the site. It matched my checkbook. There are no additions into my account.

So I subtract my total to the site's total: 36.64....that number looks familiar.

...from selling things on Amazon, I had that amount of money coming to me. Only, so far, there is no transaction listed for it in my banking history. Normally, there are pending tranactions for things that have recently arrived. I wonder if it will eventually show up there?

I hate math so much...especially when it is trying to trick me!
