If I go outside, I can hear Dierks Bently. Live. In person. *SOJ*
There are several blocks, a railroad track, and a few more blocks to the stage, but I can hear it pretty good, and the screaming fans crystal clear lol!
Walked to the end of the driveway and was able to listen to a complete song, then parts of another one....it was interrupted by three trains and I gave up.
I can still hear the bass beats from my room, though :D
Funny...cause I was trying to watch a movie and I heard a crowd screaming...then remembered the signs up around the place welcoming Dierks to town.

Yay! He was just here for our Riverboat Days (4th of July fest). Last year, Lonestar was at Riverboat Days, and if we sat alllll the way down the dike at the north end of town, we could hear them! Barely make out the words, but it was still pretty cool. At the Mississippi Valley Fair this year, we have Phil Vassar, Brooks & Dunn (I think), ZZ Top, a couple other guys...sounds like an awesome fair, but we can't go. :(

I should have dragged a chair to the end of my driveway. Nice and peaceful outside listening in the dark. He must hate this town...our stage is pretty much a covered platform with bleachers around it and a noisy train neveral blocks away lol.
