A little bit of everything...

Well, I am longly overdue for an update! (Man, my sentance making skills have gone way downhill since I have gotten an LJ!)
NOTE As I am typing this, it is turning quite long, so I think I will divide things up by subject :)
Got my copy of OC Season 1 a few days ago...woulda got it a day earlier if Mom had decided to tell me -.- Watched 3 episodes. The first one had a commentary and wow! was it interesting! The two people (I think the writer and producer) I think had the whole thing planned for what to talk about, because the word flow was seamless. And they talked fast too!! Hated the LOTR commentaries whenever the older guys would talk...they talked slow and bored me to death. *cough*
I also finished downloading Print Shop Pro and am having quite a fun time playing with it. 60 day trial! Yay! Just need to stop being lazy and hunt for some more pictures to play with.
------
Rented Duplex tonight and was surprised at how much of a kick Mom got out of it! Ben Stiller I relate to 'dirty' comedy, the type that I wouldn't dare watch with my parents.
I need to rent Ladder 49 when it comes out. That is a great movie, but real sad. I was bawling in the theater.
I bought DVD of Around the World in 80 Days for my Jackie Chan collection. I still haven't gotten around to renting it and figured that I never would. So I just bought it knowing that I would anyways after I saw it...so save myself the rental fees.
Still Water is the stupidest movie ever. Crappy acting. Half the movie was the husband and wife floating around in the water. Mom/Dad/I were watching. I ffwed though most of it. "Look, they are in the water." ffwed "Look they are still in the water." ffwed "Look, I think they drowned. Oh well."..."The end! Yay! Next movie!" *shudder*

I have been working a few extra hours this week because the girl downstairs, Michele, has been sick. She was supposed to be back today, but again wasn't able to make it. Part of her duties that I do besides shelve downstairs, is haul mail packages to the post office and pick up the mail. On the walk down there, there was this guy a bit ahead of me walking strangely. I think he was drunk or something. I slowed down and waited for him to cross the street before I continued on my way. I was hoping that it would rain, but it didn't for the whole day!! *cries* I love the rain.
Also at work today, this boy came up to me and said he thought he knew me. Apperiently he was in 9th grade my Senior year and saw me around (probably doing odd jobs that the teachers loved to send me on-yearbook, library, band, etc) and we talked. I can't remember the last time I have actually talked to a boy since school got out. He even commented that we were both wearing sandals! We were able to find a few people that we actually knew to talk about and stuff. Very odd. Me, a shy person, yapping up a storm to this stranger and enjoying it 0.o Oh well, probably never see him again, but it was very refreshing :D In the 10 minutes that I talked to him, I found out that he lived on Woodard road (not too far from my place), he now lives in winlock. He threw a dead bird at the Principle's house. 9th Grade was his last year because he got kicked out of his house. He use to watch the football games from his yard because he lived right in behind the school. He wears sandals in the rain and working in the mud 0.o He is related so some of the coolest seniors I use to know...(well, back when they were seniors). He is thinking about going back to school even though he hates it. He flattened the Principles tires several times and always got in trouble at school (gee, wonder why). And some other stuff he told me that I have forgotten lol.
Enough about work *thinks*

I wanted to do some writing, so I opened up my MS Word and started with something and it turned into the beginnings of an OC fic. Bleh. I wanna write MASH stuff and maybe finish that once I was posting. I still have a few more parts typed out, so I should post some of it in a few days. If I ever finish any OC fics, I think I will post them here just for the Hell of it. Might amuse someone. (one of them involves the two boys huddling to keep warm hehehe)
It is funny. I have been playing Astonia for over three years...at 10 bucks a month. wow. I love that game! I remember back when I was level 7 and playing with three other people around the same level and laughing so hard I almost threw up. That point was when I realized that I have more fun doing stuff online that actually going out and playing with my RL friends. Since then, I have only talked to one of those people about a year ago. She comes on during Summer break, but I missed her this last time. Wonder where she is...she was awesome!
I had made other friends in these clans, but, after knowing them for over a year and finding out that one of them was a girl (always had a male character), their equipment was scammed by a "friend" and they quit. I tried to talk through e-mail, but it isn't the same. I now have one friend who proposes to me once a week at least, but he is awesome. Nice having a friend I can trust enough to give him my password someday. So far, have only met three people like that there.

I have really started to like this rental house. If only we could get satellite and then it would be perfect and I could care less if we ever moved into the new place again. Have I mentioned how much I love the front porch?? :P
Of all things I have grown closer to, it is my cat, Ki. I have been calling her a little bug lately for some reason. She sleeps on my bed at night and even tells me when to get my butt off the computer and go to bed. She knows exactly how to act cute so I will take her outside, when to run past me into the bathroom so I can get her water (strange cat) and knows that if she claws me she will get smacked.
My Aunt got my Mom this neat plant called a unicorn plant. Very odd thing. It grows upwards to 3 feet in a thick spiral. Ki wanted to eat it, but I told her no lol. I swear she would eat anything that is green.

I think I have just passed my record for the longest post...well, everyone has to have goals...though I wasn't aiming for this one when I started typing. I've been typing for nearly 40 minutes!! 0.o wow.
Time to go play Astonia for 3-4 hours, wheee!
*scampers off*

Date: 2005-03-05 11:54 am (UTC)Odd thing indeed. We used to have sunflowers in our garden. After a year Dad had to get rid of them because the lady nextdoor complained about them. They must have been 3 metres (uhm... that's tall believe me) by that time...

Hmmm...need to rephrase--Ki would eat anything living that is green :P
