Was able to get Mom to watch some MASH!! And episodes frorm the third S7 disk that I haven't gotten to yet :D (Dang..I just had to correct 5 type-os from that whole sentance :-/)
We watched A Night at Rosies--What else could you ask for?? Everyone getting drunk (including Father M...who also played craps with Klinger *snicker*), A lush who was dead to the world, a tied up Charles who commented that between dances they used him for a chair! and a fight. And, I am convinced that Hawkeye was trying to hit on Scully..buying him drinks o.-
Next we watched Rally Around the Flagg Boys--Have I mentioned how much I love Flagg. I think this is my favorite "Flagg" episode. (probably due to the fact I cannot remember the other ones atm). Once of the few episodes where Charles is awesome! Love how he smirks when talking/listening to Flagg.
Flagg: I'll have your butt in a sling.
Hawk: Take me, I'm yours.
Flagg: You're one of those too.
Hawk: *smacks head back against the wall*
Me: Squeeeeess
So nice to be able to catch a few episodes of MASH, esp ones that I haven't seen in a long time. I think I still have about 5 left :D Saving for a boring day.
I am working on mood theme, and I can't do anything that involves pages loading...so I'll just type here for a few more minutes......
On the day that we were moving stuff from the old house (sounds wierd to call it that), I was alone watching the critters (AKA dog and cat), and I was flipping through the TV channels, trying to find something amusing to watch that I would never watch while my parents are home (not THAT kinda amusing!) and I came across the 1968 version of Romeo and Juliet. Call me wierd, but I like it! Not love it, but it is highly amusing! Well, I had been watching it for over an hour and I got to the scene after R&J make out and are laying naked in bed *smirk* Guess who walks though the door? Mom and one of her church friends! I quickly change the channel and answer all their questions about critters and phonecalls with a word or two. Finally they left so I could resume watching.
I never did get to watch all of it, so I reserved it from the library. Got it a few days ago and have been able to convince Mom to watch a few minutes here and there, even though she hates it. (How can you hate a movie with a bunch of guys running around in tights???) Haven't gotten too far into it yet...wonder what she will think of the afore-mentioned scene? I wonder if I will even notice?
I only got one icon up in the time it took me to type that -,-
*twiddles thumbs*
I have finally decided on a breed to stick with when I go to raise chickens again! Black-tailed White Japanese Bantams. They sell really well, are cute, and are extra friendly. A pair of roosters that I sold a few years ago were showing off to the lady looking at them. They cleaned their feathers, clucked, and scooted as close to her as they could. We went to the feed store awhile later and one of the guys there had been at the sale and heard that that lady had been willing to bid up to 30 bucks for them!
I feel like talking about my chickens--well, the ones I use to have. Don't have any now...no place to keep them until the new house is built. Anyways, one banty we had was super annoying. She would screech and make this annoying whining sound when she was nervious, which was anytime we went around her. Finally, 3 years was enough. We took her to the sale. It takes over the weekend to find out how much we made unless we stick around for the auction (we never do). Again we went to the feed store and a customer was talking to a few of the employes. He was saying about these two idiots bidding on this old hen. He said what type it was and--It was ours! Someone paid 20 bucks for that thing! That type might be the one to specialize it, but I think they would all drive me crazy if they acted like that one did!

la_gatta_nera is coming back soon!! *dances*
Books! I was shelving books downstairs last week and found And the Band Played On. It hadn't occurred to me to track down the book, considering how much I love the movie. I read a few chapters of it (yes, I couldn't resist and checked it out). It was pretty good, but then I got sidetracked and haven't been back to it since. I think I may just skim it. Pretty thick book.
Crap, I think my connection just died...bleh. I hate it when it does that. It doesn't disconnect....it just...sits there and refused to load pages.
*Proudly announces* I'm hungry for spaghetti!! *gets up and wanders to kitchen...

The Zefirelli version?! I love that, too! It's unintentionally hilarious. I thought I was the only one who laughed their way through it. Especially the balcony scene...
