evila_elfWell, finally got the computer over to the new house. Despite a rainstorm that made me glad I had dad put a cover over the open boxes, things went pretty well. I labeled all the cords so I would know where to hook them back up because I am such an idiot that I would screw things up otherwise (like the TV ). I did end up with an extra cord that I didn't label and i have no idea where it goes. Things seem to work fine with out it *shrugs*
Ki (cat) is adapting well. Finally, for 2 nights in a row, I was able to get to sleep fast...except she woke me up at arount 5-6 to crawl under the covers with me...The second night she made me open up the closet and proceeded to climb up Mom's clothes to reach the top shelf...yes Mom's clothes, in MY closet...and Dad's closet, and her own -.- I boxed up all my extra clothes and put them into storage.
Speaking of clothes...my box of clothes to take with me has vanished!! *screams and throws fit* I swear I have searched everywhere! The boxes that were taken with it ended up in storage like they were supposed to and my jeans arrived here...but just that one damn box!
We get 4 TV channels, only one of which comes in clear...no NBC *cries* Or ABC! Hope to do some thing about that before Lost comes back on. Glad to be able to watch American Idol! I was laughing much harder than I should have been :D
Heard something very interesting on the radio today: Seems like this guy (ages between 22-27) auctioned off, on e-bay, add space on his forehead for a month! The highest bid? 37,000!!! The company? Breathe Right: It really works. OMG! The producer at the station is going to do that same thing, by a phone-in auction ending Friday, all proceeds going to the Disaster Relief charity. So far, his highest is 1600. not bad :)
