One of my college classes is literature. We are now discussing Plays.

I hate this class so much. Every week we have a discussion assignment. Normally there is something quite interesting to talk about, but the teacher insists on rewriting ever discussion post and some of the regular assignments.

This week, the original discussion was to talk/review on a play we had seen or review something from our text book. Instead, the revised discussion is to talk about this one play, Trifles, and talk about what we would do for setting, who we want for characters, etc. Which is also part of our written assignment. Basically 2 pages of all that in more detail. The play is fucking boring!
At least now I have a bunch of other posts to read to give me inspiration for the written assignment. *Cries*

If you're instructor sounded more sane, I'd suggest doing something fun with the setting like rethinking it as a space western in a Firefly sort of universe. At least that's less boring.
