Supernatural review
Saturday, September 25th, 2010 08:06 pmOkay, after watching it 2.5 times (.5 because still watching), here's
I loved the start of it and the music montage (like everyone else, I had been wanting that Asia 'Heat of the Moment" song to be playing on the radio. But the song did fit well with the clips. Was great seeing Dean be a family man. Or try to be. It felt like he was settling for Lisa, not like he really wanted to be there.
But when Sam showed up...that is when things started feeling 'off' to me. Sam still talked like he had Lucifer in him. I found myself not able to trust a single thing he was saying, though it appears he is normal, for lack of a better word. Definitely didn't trust the Campbells, and that proved correct.
Bobby was a breath of fresh air.
I hate saying that Sam made the episode not as good. But being suspicious of everything he was doing was tiring. He acted like he was lying through his teeth with everything he was telling Dean. I loved the golf clubs and Sam making fun :) I can imagine Dean making an attempt at golfing, hitting the hell out of the ball, and then never picking the clubs up again.
Wasn't it a Yorkie that chased Dean in Yellow Fever? Either way, loved it :D
The ep got a little better toward the end. A little. (I feel bad for looking up which ep Cas was going to show back up in).
All in all, so-so ep. The preview for the next one looks good and creepy. Though evil kids/babies? Uugh!
