*forces self to stop putting this off*
Ack, I almost forgot how to make a LJ cut!
So, I took the Amtrak up to Seattle Thursday afternoon, then a cab to
michelleann68's apartment. Flight wasn't until the next day, so we had the whole day to relax and stuffs. First, Michelle showed me a movie called Her Minor Thing. I had been kinda wanting to see a Chris Kane movie, since I hear talk about him on the 'net a bunch. Movie was kinda corny, but fun. Chris was adorable....mmmm long hair. *cough*
We then started in on a series he is in called Leverage. It was hard to look away from the TV because there was so many little things going on that you need to pay attention to. We watched two eps, then
gin200168 showed up and we watched the ep of Bones that had just aired with Stephen Fry.
I really shouldn't wait so long to post after I do cool stuff, details a bit fuzzy--Like I have no memory of how we even got to the airport...I think it was a bus.
I managed to not panic over the security check, then we waited for the plane. It was about an hour late. I watched another ep of Leverage. Then, somewhere along the line, Michelle and Gin decided to make a list of all of my 'firsts' on this trip. They wanted to get to 27, since I will be turning 27 in June. I blame it all on the corn nut that they got me to eat, but Michelle denies that. I think we were around 23 or something--still need to consult with her to get it typed up.
Michelle and I managed to get emergency row seats, with Gin behind us. I wanted the window seat since I had never been in a plane before (whee). Take off reminded me a bit of a roller coaster ride. Some painful ear popping that didn't last too long, and we were off. Got to see the sunset from the plane. I've always liked looking at sunsets. Would have tried to take a pic, but my camera was in my duffel, which was in an overhead bin. After it was dark and I couldn't stare out the window any longer, I listened to music and watched a few mvids on my Zune.
Made our way to the hotel after we got off the plane. Michelle had called ahead to get them to hold our room since we were going to be really late (I think it ended up like 10 or 11 before we rolled in), but they had already given out our rooms by the time we got there, so we got upgraded :D
As I was checking in at home on the phone, I was sitting on this settee. If I laid down on it, only my feet hung off the edge. So I claimed it rather than sharing a bed. Found blankets and a spare pillow in the closet. Afraid if I rolled over I would faceplant in the floor though, lol.
Okay, so next day. The first 'official' day in San Fran. Had breakfast, then started to head to Fisherman's Warf.
Saw this on the way and took a pic for Bridget (coworker, who loves Pandas):

Caught a cable car for a little of the way:

--side note--
Since I got off the plane, I noticed a little pain/pinch in my upper right leg. It started aching more throughout the day.
We made it:

I think that is the Golden Gate Bridge *squints* It was really foggy and hazy that day:

No trip is complete without visiting the Gharardelli chocolate place.

Bought some chocolates, rested for a bit, then we made our way closer:

Aaannd.....It's 4:30am and I don't want to think any more. I'll post up more tomorrow, or later today, or...sometime ;)

Oh and the same goes for last Monday's "House". AAAAAH. That episode was made of all kinds of win.
