Well, the only way for me to listen to the rest of 6 degrees of Separation was by a couple words at a time!! Grrr!! Play, eject, tighten ribbon, play. Can't really recall the ending atm...so, another reason to listen to the whole thing again!

Checked out "Everyone Says I Love you" from the library, and, I must say, it is the scariest musical I have seen in my life!! Not sure if in a good way or not lol!

Read a few reviews of "Goodbye, farewell, Amen" and am feeling a bit depressed. It has been like 10 years since I have seen it, and I still remember quite a few parts. I need to track it down so I can spend the 2 hours sobbing :(

LOL - I feel the same way about Everyone Says I Love You. Especially where the dead guy comes out of the casket and starts dancing with everyone. So odd.

Aww, I'd hate if I had to stop every few seconds just to listen to something! GFA is one of my v. fave episodes...it's got some happiness to it, but it's incredibly sad as well. It's, just...the end. The end of all things. THe end of their friendships, perhaps not. The end of memories, no. It leaves you with a lot to think about. ACtually it's one of the v first ones I've seen as well. I watched it on Hallmark a few months ago and I kept going "Oh! That's where they showed that!" LOL.

*cries*
Do you think they will show it on Hallmark this round? Same time as the episodes?? I would love to catch a recording of it!
The one scene that has never left me was when Hawkeye was telling about what really happened on the bus. Been remembering that scene on and off for 7 years now. Wonder if it is how I remember it.

I'm sure they'll show it, but the question is; how much will they chop out? The last time they showed it, I know they missed some of Hawkeye/Sidney talk. *pout* I like Sidney. If I ever drop all my beans, he's the guy I'd go to. Has a sense of humour, too.

Yeah, it should go right along with the episodes...they might throw in and odd episode, like something from season three, to even it out. They'll want to show GFA by itself due to the length. I was going to try to tape it too, so if you miss, I'll make you a copy. That's part of what I've always remembered too...that and Klinger looking over the mountains to see the sky, and Potter saying it was fire so they ended up having to bug out. And when BJ left without leaving a note for Hawk...when Hawkeye got back and Potter told him he'd gone home...*cry* He just got out of the looney bin! What a thing to come home to! He looked so sad I wanted to hug him for an hour. (Then, when do I not? LOL.)

Off to work. *cry!*

I actually have a copy of "Goodbye, Farewell, Amen" -- the original broadcast of it, uncut and with the pilot shown before it. Just putting that out there in case anyone is interested.

(That was a blatant attempt at letting people know I am willing to make a copy and send it off to anyone who asks -- free of charge. Subtle? Me? No.)

Farewell.

Deal. Without a doubt, a deal -- let me know as soon as you get it, so we can work something out.

If you're making copies, I wouldn't mind one...(shamelessly begging!) I don't have much for trade...my movie collection is rather limited, and I don't have any AA movies *pout* but I can get ya some nice Mash stills from seasons 1-6!

*snicker* It was that weird? The part about the corpse dancing made me go o.O

No worries. I saw myself a doozy of a weird movie the other day myself...'The Whole Ten Yards'. Now, I absolutely LOVED the first one. The second one had one scene that made me laugh so hard I cried, but most of it was v. v. weird.

Yes, it was that wierd and wierder! Any excuse to sing and dance! Alan Alda did sing once...a birthday-type song I think...he didn't dance though :( Woulda been hilarious and worth keeping if he did!

Put me down for one? That would be awesome!!! 'Cause the last two times I've seen it, they've shown different scenes. Like the first time, they didn't show all of the part when Hawkeye is remembering what happened on the bus, and the second time they did, which led me to believe some of it was cut :( And that's just no fun at all. Grrr to them. At least in Sept. they're supposed to start showing them uncut...their running time will be half an hour longer, but that's probably just for more commercials you know.

Thanks!

Hallmark is honestly just odd, as far as it's showing of episodes go. I do not pretend to understand the network, nor will I ever.

The nice thing about the tape I have is that during some of the commercials, they have scenes of interviews with the cast, and a bit of behind-the-scenes things. Not much, but a bit. Do you want the pilot on the tape also (the pilot is actually quite butchered, mind -- have the scenes are gone).

As you can see, I've put you down for one. Fair warning -- the tape is from 1983, and is hardly the most amazing quality. It's good, but a bit fuzzy.

Now, to steal my money back from my brother and find out the cost of shipping.

Farewell.

Ooh. Interviews. Sure, put the pilot on there too, if ya want...be like a Before/After kinda thing...beginning through the end. See how they've changed. Etc etc. That would be a good report for something school-related, really. S'okay for the tape quality - my mother has been taping things off HBO and what not since before I was born, and I've watched those tapes without it crossing my eyes any.

Thanks!!! Now I'm excited to see it. (I've seen the last episode twice, but it's been awhile, since the last time they showed it, I missed half...during the day AND at night. They started showing it at like 3:30 instead of 4, so I turned it on at 4 and went "arrrrrgh!!")
