This one has been popping up a lot, so what the hell ^.^

Everyone has things they blog about. Everyone has things they don't blog about. Challenge me out of my comfort zone by telling me something I don't blog about, but you'd like to hear about, and I'll write a post about it. Ask for anything: latest movie watched, last book read, political leanings, thoughts on yaoi, favorite type of underwear, graphic techniques, etc. Repost in your own journal so that we can all learn more about each other.

Be warned, there are actually a lot of things that I have no opinion on whatsoever...which is why I don't talk about them ;) So expect a few, I dunno responses ;)

Well, how does being a librarian influence your reading behaviour? Do you prefer buying books or taking advantage of the fact that you work in a library, i.e. do you read library books most of the time?

Well...*looks at stack of 10 books by bedside*

Yes, I take advantage lol of the library ;) and I always end up with more books than I can read. Most take me several weeks to read since I am bad about setting out reading time. I'm trying not to take any more home with me, since I won't have time to read them before I bring them back. Naturally I am reading the longest one first ^.^

And I have a stack of books I have just gotten, non library ones, that I am looking forward to reading, but who knows how long it will be?
I joined this place called paperbackswap.com, so that is where I get all my books now *luvs site*

As far as influencing my behaviour...I don't think I read as much since I started working, since the job--few hours that it is--breaks up my days a lot.

^.^

I don't think I read as much since I started working, since the job--few hours that it is--breaks up my days a lot. I seem to have the same problem, even though my studies evolve around literature. I should be able to read at any given moment, on my way to class, at home, you name it... but I usually end up reading in bed -- and mostly at night... that way, I don't get much done, and on top of it, I can hardly stay focused. *shifty eyes*

:)

I mainly read in bed, too, but only until my cat decides to join me, which leaves me time for 2-5 pages.

LOL Cats really have a way of demanding attention, don't they? (and they don't like being ignored, I remember that)
