Oh, brother

evila_elfJeff stayed for around...7 weeks? I think that was what I was told lol.
He was supposed to leave Thursday the 6th, but the silly got his times confused--plane left at 2:03am, not pm. So he woke me to say goodbye (though I had been awake for like 40 minutes listening to the talking in the kitchen). Being myself, I didn't go to bed any earlier than I normally do, so I ended up with about 4-5 hours sleep.
After breakfasting and making my bed, I hopped on Pea to check e-mail and such before getting dressed. I was chatting to![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
michelleann68 when the phone ring and I heard Mom ask the person on the other end what had happened. A few minutes of listening to her and I figured out it was Jeff. Told Michelle that there seemed to be something up and it sounded like he had missed his flight.
So, between the listening and the chatting (and some giggling), I ended up with 15 minutes to get dressed, brush teeth, and fix hair before I had to leave for work...and catch the details before I left.
The next avaliable flight was the following Tuesday, so he was stuck with us.
First off, meet my brother, Jeff.

We went to see quite a few movies...Ratatouille (with Mom), Rush Hour 3, 3:10 to Yuma (which I thought was going to be good, but was prepairing myself for it sucking. Turns out it was excellent), Sunshine (with Mom). The last two we saw during Jeff's 'extended' stay.
Sunshine, we went to see it at this little theater that it right off of a bar, so I had to have ID with me in case I was carded (I was, hee). We got free popcorn--leftover from last show, and actually pretty decent. The theater had couches, chairs and end tables. The air conditioning wasn't working very well, but I was able to ignore that fact for the most part. I wish that Sunshine was still playing...would love to go see it again! Definately buying it when out on video.
Watched quite a few shows. Saw all of Buffy Season 3 (which I asked he bring down with him), an episode of Angel (Smile Time) which was hilarious. Need to check out show after all done with Buffy. Showed him some House and Torchwood.
Got him to have an IM conversation with Michelle for about 15 minutes. Amusing yet scary.
