evila_elfYesterday morning, I had a library staff meeting to attend. When did I remember? At 3:30am same morning.
Turns out, I was checking my library-account e-mail for the first time in a month and found a weeks' old e-mail stating the date change for the meeting that I had forgotten to delete. So I quickly swore and said goodnight to a friend who should have gone back to bed *stare* then ran around getting ready to get some sleep.
It was past 4 before I got to bed, then couldn't sleep, then woke up at least twice, depending on if I was imagining my cat sitting on my chest and wanting some attention. Woke at 6, 7, dozed until 7:29, then shut off my alarm before it could ring. Stumbled around to get dressed, make bed, then leave at 8. Ew.
Was a nice meeting at least. We walked over to where our temporary location will be set up, in the basement of this city building across the road. Pretty small for the actuall book spot, but we have a kitchen, some nice storage--as long as we don't have to share--and a nice meeting room.
Meeting lasted an hour, went to McDonalds for hashbrowns, then back home to dink around until I was due back in at work for my 3 hours. Almost fell asleep on the drive back in. And almost ready to crash right now...ick.
Soooo...that was pretty much my day.
Oh, and someone posted a nice 9k+ smut piece, but there is so much flowery description that it is making my eyes cross and I keep losing track of who is being described.
