I had been planning on doing the third part of my trilogy for this year's NaNo. It was a story that I had started 3 years ago for NaNo and only got about 12k into. But, I would have to completely scrap and rewrite, because those 12k words can't count for this NaNo and...the middle story sucked and I want to FIX IT before I consider doing the third one.
So this year, I am doing a fantasy novel. I haven't written fantasy in ages! I just had a gleeful time working out some stuff about the universe and creatures.
*For those that don't know, NaNo, or NaNoWriMo, is National Novel Writing Month. Where you write a 50k word story during the month of November. Been doing this myself for about 4 years, and won the last two (winning=reaching the word goal).
Anyone else out there doing NaNo?
