Firstly, big thank you and huggles to the person who gave me a few months paid account time :D
The newest TV Guide has a small little House article. It doesn't really answer the asked question.
How much fun was it to shoot Dr. House--and will it change him?
Executive producer Katie Jacobs says:
It was great to create that scene. The thing about Hugh Laurie is, physically, he's so capable with anything we have given him. So, can he take a bullet and a fall? Absolutely! He refuses to put on pads and he's very athletic. And the way House may change is just in terms of him looking at the way he pursues the truth. He pushes the patient and family members and everybody to find out the truth about everything. Is it really necessary to push people that far? I can't imagine a soft, cuddly, warm House, but we like out characters to remember where they've been. One of the small things we talking about is that he's been shot in his office, and next season there should be a stain in the carpet from where they tried to remove the blood. Basically it's there, as a reminder that this experience happened.
The blood on the carpet would be awesome!!! Cameron can put a little frilly rug over the spot to try to cover it up, which annoys House. :D

Date: 2006-05-28 08:34 pm (UTC)Love the frill rug idea. and hey the 'Fellows' is was for 3 years right and Chase has been there 3 years if they are following time correctly In the pilot Chase had been there a year, Cam 6 months and it was Foreman's first day... I wonder if they will bring in a new one or do something else with Chase - yeah that sounds dirtier then it should. ( I can blame the vicodin)
