Ow ow ow, Shit shit shit!!
The right side of my mouth hurts so bad! I can't tell if it is just one tooth or even if it is coming from the top or bottom. 4th time it has flared up tonight *wince* Guess I will have to go to the dentist soon *groan* Never hurt this bad before.
Supposed to be a(nother) bad windstorm hitting sometime in the night here. Already raining like crazy. Hope we don't lose power until I am off the computer.

Okay...I've been tagged several times to do that 5 guilty pleasures meme :P Not going to state the rules because I am nice and don't tag people :P :P

The OC. Hehe. Sometimes it seems like I am the only one on the planet watching since none of my RL friends do and my parents grumble if I even suggest they watch an episode.

slash. It is such a part of my life and no one I can babble on and on and on about with around here.

QAF. I just wish I didn't have to watch it at midnight with the sound so low I can barely hear it. Such an awesome show, and not just for the guy action!

Chocolate milkshakes. The good ones cost about 3 bucks, but damn are they good! Picked one up last week after work and was in heaven the whole way home.

Showers. I have said I do my best thinking while in the shower. Parents wonder why it takes me an hour to take one, hehe :D

Other news...Mom finally got her new car. She was thinking about getting a Chevy Cavillier like I have, but Dad talked her into...get this...a PT Cruiser! Mom was complaining about how ugly it was until she took it for a test drive. Ewww became ahhh! It is a pale gold color. And it is a 2005 and dad was able to talk the dealer down to 10k for it. Not bad considering new ones cost over 20k!

Geeze, there has to be something else interesting going on...

I got a 28 cent raise because I had been working at the library for 2 years this Feb.
BTW, anyone know what minimum wage is atm?
Also Sabrina, the girl who was working every other Sunday at Centralia library quit, so now I am working my own every other Sundays (the ones she wasn't working) and now every other Sunday that she worked--confused yet? Basically I work my Sunday, her Sunday, my Sunday, then I get one off and repeat.

All for now I guess.

Nearly everyone goes for the chocolate whilst I go for strawberry :D Don't get me wrong, I LOVE chocolate but for some odd reason I'm fussy on chocolate icecream, its just not the same for me.

Oh new car! *google images them* I wouldn't say ugly, it is a strange looking car, but I like it. I'm most likely getting a Lancer.

Orange is the only thing that can come close to chocolate for me. I prefer orange popsicles rather than chocolate most times.

PT Cruisers are strange looking. The first time I saw one, I was like "What the Hell is that?? o.0"

OK.. I watched The OC, and got shit for it, then Alias moved to Thursday and I gave it up... maybe since you actually watch it I will pick it back up.
I have not had a milkshake in years, I have nothing against them, and they are yummy, it is just not something that I have in my realm of 'mmm what should I eat.'

QAF is awesome, I got sucked into it and watch it all in a year. Luckily I got the DVD's and watched them, then got Showtime and saw the last season. *sniffle* It was good show and no, not just for the explicit boy love.

Maybe it is the b-day thing, but in college I would take 2-3 showers a day on finals week, it was the one place I could relax and just chill out. I love a good shower :)

So, does this mean more hours working or other time off?

Hey, the storm hit you guys? I heard it missed Lewis County, but Seattle was hit pretty hard.

OC has been going downhill this season, but it is starting to pick up these last three episodes. I have no idea how they will be able to keep the series going another season since everyone is looking into colleges and such.

I shower until the hot water isn't hot enough ;)

Only change with my hours are that I get 5 more a month (I get paid for 8 since it is on a Sunday), so not too bad. It is considered Sub hours, so I can't get any benefits :-/

I am going to wait until the summer break in shows before I dive into QAF again. Going to be so sad to see it end...Season 5 the last one? I've watched three so far. I get so into it I am sobbing, hehe. Have you seen the British version? I saw that first.

I keep my bedroom window cracked open (need the fresh air) and the window is protected b/c of the shape of the building. Anywhoo.. The wind gust was soooo hard that it woke me up, out of a dead sleep. I loved it, but it did give me a fright when it woke me up. I have not seen the news, so I have no idea how bad it was, when I watched Numb3rs this morning the news tease was the worse wind storm in a long time, I believe it. All morning the wind has been just firece, it is pretty cool, I looked down and the trees on the street are swaying and the wind is whipping - it is great,

Generally, they will send all the kids to the same school. Maybe I will check it out this week, I'll e-mail you if I get too confused ;)

I agree on the shower thing. I got trained at a young age to a 5 min shower- (if we were not out the water got turned off, even if you still had soap on you- so it is inate to rush the soapy part of the shower) But, I am better at lingering now and really like to feel the water just wash everything away.

That sucks that you get no benefits... but at least it is a little extra coin in your pocket :)

The ending was sad - I know I sobbed for a while and was angry for a bit, but I have made peace with it. (I have not made peace with the ending of OZ or Homicide (damn you Fontanna))

I have a 2003 Saturn L200. I bought it in the midst of my 95 mile a day commute, so it was nice to drive. But now, I drive maybe 100 miles a month...

Storms are quite fun. We have been having quite a few lately...keeps knocking limbs off the trees so we have to keep cleaning up. The last one we had a month or so ago, I opened the front door before I realized how bad it was, and the trees were whipping all over, windchimes going crazy. I was laughing all over the place as Mom kept saying it wasn't funny :D And it was on a Friday, so I didn't care if we lost power or not.
Thunder storms are more fun. Back at the other house, I use to sit on the lawn and watch the flashes in the distance. Don't think I can see them at this place--yet to have on here.

Have you caught any of this season of OC yet? I can give you a mini recap from what I can recall if you don't care about spoilers. Summer and Seth look like they will be going to the same college, but I don't think Ryan has decided or anything yet. It won't be the same show if they break them up at all, and I really don't want to be watching The OC: The College Years either.

Were there a lot of people in your family? That why the 5 min rule? It takes me 5 minutes just to begin to shampoo, hehe.

Angry that QAF was ending, or the way it ended? (No spoilers!) :) I was surprised at how much I started liking Emmett...and Justin, he was a bit annoying at the beginning. I wish I had gotten into the series as it was airing--though I didn't have Showtime--so then I could yap about it with people online like I do with all the other weekly shows I watch :) But no evil cliffhangers except between seasons this way (the one between 1 and 2 was nasty!)

Any netflix recommendations? Last one I got was Gross Anatomy which was really good :D

I love storms, but can not watch them as well, since I live downtown now.

QAF ending: I was angry at the content. It was a good time for the show to end, I accepted that, but now that I have some distance, I can accept how they choose to end it much better.

I took a quick look and I have rented around 360 movies from Netflix, and I owe over 100 DVD's.. so I am happy to reccommend stuff.. what kind of things are you looking for? If you want you can friend me on Netflix and see what I am renting. e-mail address is the gmail one..

OC...where to begin.
Kirsten's drinking problem is pretty much forgotten now, though there was a brief mention this last episode and she has been staying away from drinking lately. Sandy has a new partner (he is rather cute) and they are trying to build a hospital, etc. Kinda new story line, started a few episodes ago. That is the scoop on the parents, now the kids:
Ryan--towards the beginning, we've seen that Teresa has had the baby, and so far Ryan doesn't know about it. We still aren't sure if it is his or Eddie's--never got to see the baby's face.
Marissa--Got kicked out of school by this new evil principal (giggle) and had to go to *gasp* pubic school! There she friended Johnny and his buddy Chilli (sp?) who are exactly similar to Ryan and Seth. She, like an idiot, started hanging out a lot with Johnny, blah blah blah. Her sister, Caitlin, is back in town, caused a lot of problems *insert drama here* and is going after Johnny herself (she is 14), trying to make Marissa jealous, even though she claims to be over him. Ryan is pissed at her (Marissa) again.
Anyways, in last night's show, Marissa finally 'dumped' Johnny after he admitted his true love for her. He went to the beach with Caitlin and a bottle of Vodka or something and decided to be a mountain climber and climbed up this hill. Caitlin called Marissa (interrupting a make-up/make-out session, hehe) crying for help.
Ryan confronted Johnny on the hill. Johnny was asking Ryan if he was going to save him again in front of Marissa, pull him back at the last minute...blah blah. He slipped, Ryan dove--last shot of the episode was Ryan's empty hand. No idea if he made it or not...no mourning in the preview that I could see. I was just starting to like Johnny too, le sigh.
Okay...Seth and Summer's storyline *deep breath*
Seth and Summer applied to go to Brown University together. Caitlin gave Seth some pot (sigh) to settle his nerves, but he managed to miss his interview with the college people, which Summer made hers. I think he is going to reschedule. The parents don't know about the pot useage yet, but the others do.
Julie and Kirsten are running their own dating service.
Julie is now living in a trailer (Jimmy is gone for good I guess) and she has her sights set on Summer's Dad--who just recently broke up with 'the evil stepmother.' (Caleb died a long time ago, BTW)
I think that is pretty much it with the recent stuff--was quite afew more subplots, but most have disappeared.
Not enough Seth/Ryan time, so I am sad about that :( Seems to have improved now that it is at 9. Wonder if that is just a figment of my imagination...
Fingers are tired of typing now, lol.

Nice summary.. I knew Caleb died, which I thought that could be good for Julie and force her to grow up a little. (Also, why I am happy that Jimmy left her)

So, Marissa is finding more ways to screw up her life.. I wonder when she will realize she is a lot like her mother.

That is sad that the dropped the Kirsten drinking story-line- it does not need to be big every show, but to show her struggling etc, would be some nice angst.

Building a hospital?? that seems strange. Do you think that his business partner will end up with Julie? or Kirsten's little sister?

Well, cruising Netflix now lol. So much for putting it off for later!

Kirsten's drinking problem actually lasted a good many episodes, but all quite a bit in the past to be important now. She went away to rehab for a couple months and met this one lady who turned immediately clingy (so clingy I coulda swore kissing would be involved later!). She had some scheme going to...I don't really remember...sucky story line. Lot of friction between her and Sandy because she wasn't really comfortable coming home. Oh, they had staged an intervention to send her to rehab. Even Ryan stepped in with that one because of him Mom's heavy drinking.

Yeah, the building a hospital--which they both passionately want built--struck me by surprise.

Julie is pretty much hooked up with Summer's Dad for now, and Kirsten's sister hasn't been back since she left (that I remember). So far, no one is after Sandy's partner--yet.

Marissa has really been bad with the guys. Luke she didn't really hurt too bad, but Oliver, Ryan countless times, Johnny...I know there was someone else in there too. She is sooo annoying!

MI-5 is AWESOME.. I freaked out over this last season.. my journal name comes from the season before. *Sam sends me the eps when the air in the UK so I get them early* The version they show on US TV - has 20 mins cut out so at times it is not even understandable.

I added Firefly and the movie to my que.. I have been meaning to for a while - but seeing the each 'add' button made it eaisy.

Well.. I am glad they gave the drinking line some weight. but really getting sober is easy, staying sober is the hard part.

Yeah- Marissa drives me batty and everyone lets her get away with it. She has no boundries at all.

I like Sandy.. he is my fav adult, I hope this hospital is successful... is it a special hospital or just a normal one?

MI-5 sounded real neat. I wish I was signed up so I could get more than 1 movie at a time. I put a large space between the disks so that I wouldn't accidently be sent them out of order. So the version on Netflix is probably the US edit, then?

Firefly is awesome. I got to watch most of the episodes when my brother brought it when he was visiting and he forced the episodes on me. I was never really fond of that guy who was in Two guys and a Girl when he was on that series, but I love him now that I have seen him in Firefly. Watch the series first if possible. I wish Fox wouldn't have canceled it. At least we got a cool movie out of it :D

Netflix is neat with all the ways to browse movies. I'm fairly harsh on rating things as far as giving things 5 stars. Mom wants to cancel it next month. Hope I can talk her out of it. Lotta interesting things in my queue lately. ;)

I hope the hospital is successful. A walk in clinic was mentioned, other than that I have no idea. Sandy was trying to find someone to fund the project, and he wanted to do it his way by giving the guy a walk around town. It looked like that guy might take his money to another client, so Sandy's partner set up kinda penthouse meeting with chicks, etc. Sandy was upset with the way that worked, but the guy said he would go with them. Then, this last episode, Sandy's partner is after some girl (forgot about her) who is the daughter of some important person who will help further their chances of getting the building built--though I already thought it was a done deal o.0 Sandy wasn't very happy with him, and I think has yet to confront him about it.

MI-5 is great.. I can lend you my disks if you want to take some pressure off your Netflix que. The DVD version is actaully the British TV version so you are in luck.

If you like Crime shows- I can never reccommend 'Wire in the Blood' enough, I also have all the DVD's of that series (since it is British a series is 3 eps 2 hours each)

Hope you get to keep it - it is the best way to see movies ( well I love the theater, but most are not ever show in theaters or are older).

I do not think I give many 5 stars - I tend in the 3 star area.. but it is cool to see what you have rated.

Sandy is always trying to be so upright and then the scammers tend to get him where he needs to be. I hope he does get this and that he has some success.

I would love to be able to borrow the disks! Since I doubt that Mom would enjoy them, it will be easier to convince her to keep Netflix if I can get things she might enjoy. Which means I have to keep my wierd movies to a minimum *grumble* First month I was able to get like 7 movies, the rest only 4 or 5 since it takes forever for Mom to get around to watching whatever I get.

I don't watch Crime shows. Probably because I haven't really seen a good one.

Great way to catch up on all the older movies or the new releases. Costs about 4 bucks to rent a new release on DVD around here for 5 days, or 99 cents on Thursdays for one day, but it is OC night, so nope to that!

I hope the hospital doesn't go the way of the the Jimmy/Sandy restaurant...prob. after it is built we will never hear about it again...maybe the kids can all get jobs there *giggle* Summer did volunteer work as a candy stripper awhile ago :P

Believe it or not. I started to outline a plot last night as I was trying to fall asleep.. let's see if this sounds tooo contrieved. (oh btw.. maybe seeing his dad with a life partner can inspire Ryan to confess his love to Seth)

Ryan's mom moves back east and Ryan is not sure why, but since she has not been the best mother he does not really care. She dies and he comes back to arrange the funneral and pack up her apt. It turns out she had cancer and was being treated by Wison. Wilson, b/c of his own conflicted mommmy issues, really is worried about this kid. He also has the realization that he is old enough to be a father to him and has a mini freak out. Determined to do something, he goes over to the apt and offers Rayn help and dinner. Ryan is too greif stricken and angry to want anything. Ryan is putting away his mom's stuff and finds her diary. He starts to read it and then he figures out House is his real father. He was in CA 20 years ago as an intern and he met her and she cheated on her husband with him (remember he has a older brother) and ended up with Ryan. SHe never told anyone, but when she got sick, she remembered the doctor who impacted her life and she regretted no leaving her husband all these years to be with him. SHe flies back to find out why she is sick. She sees the bitter man he has become and finds out he is involved with a another doctor. She deals with her issues and forgives and dies. Ryan is shocked and pissed. He pulls out the number - figuring Wilson is the "other man" and calls up to invite himself to dinner. He is pissed and Hosue is shell shocked, Wilson is trying to keep the peace.
