Another windstorm! Peachy :-/

Lost power for an hour earlier and I wanted to cry...I was right in the middle of reading an excellent H/W ficcy :(
Just when we get all the limbs picked up from the last 2 storms, here we go again.
It is supposed to get super worse out there, and we have already lost another tree in the woods by our house.

Went into town with a friend while the power was out. Windy there too and the car was being blown around a bit o.o

Well...back to reading in case the power cuts off again!

I even had a portable TV that can be plugged into our generator to watch House on if we lose power on a Tuesday. It only gets like 3 channels though lol.
All is -mostly- calm outside now :D

Had a touch of near flooding a few days ago. A few roads were under water.
Flooding just start there, or is it on it's way out?

Very cool.. it is VERY windy here... I can really hear the wind whipping around. I love the sound.. yeah I know I am an odd duck..

I love standing out in storms as long as the wind isn't too chilly (no fun in a heavy coat) and when there is no chance of being knocked unconscious by a tree limb or a flying dog ;)

Flying dogs are always a worry.... but there is something nice about watching a storm on the horizon and tracking it as it moves over you.... sigh....

Well stay away from old fragile trees.. and ummm light dogs :)

Always trees around, so can't really track storms all that well.
Our house dog would be a light one except Mom feeds her waaay too much :)

we are getting soaked here too in Northern CA, but I imagine it must be worse in WA.

I cried last time when my TV died, and I know I will be very upset if I couldn't get onto LJ. addictions, addictions...

Not really too much rain during the windstorm. It had been raining steady for a few days--a few days ago hehe. Few spots with water over the roadway.
I would hate to miss an episode of House. I would spend forever online begging someone to make a copy for me, hehe :) So far so good with not missing any of my shows :)
