Oh wow. I've never heard of or even imagined using ice play this way! That is wonderfully sexy and you did a superb job of conveying the shock and pleasure of the cold, the contrast with body warmth, the relief from the sun.
I laughed at the line about feeling like someone was trying to set them on fire with a magnifying glass. It made sudden, surreal sense. So that's why the Cabin Pressure universe is like that! Because they're all the playthings of some giant master being who controls them like bugs! *grin*
My favorite thing was the shock that Douglas felt after he forgot that his penis was about to be cold. HA! Serves you right, Douglas! No one to blame but yourself! :-)
