So busy working on new ficcy that I almost didn't get this typed up :P
Decided to give you a teaser of it, from towards the beginning, and FYI, the title will most likely be changed. I am currently working on the ending...but I still have the whole middle to figure out.
Late to my Execution
It was a glum bunch that returned to the 4077th. Margaret ran out to greet them. She noticed right away that something bad had happened. “What’s wrong?”
“Guilty as charged,” Hawkeye spoke.
“For running Frank’s shorts up the flagpole?”
“Aiding the enemy,” BJ answered, trying his best to not look at Frank, least he lose control and beat him to a pulp.
“It was a Korean mother and child! I helped her too...” Her face paled. “People who help the enemy get executed!”
No one spoke. Frank slowly climbed from the back of the jeep. He almost tripped over Radar when he turned to flee.
And here is the next part to DD
Dogtag Dawn Part something
“Frank! What’s wrong?”
“A lot,” he mumbled, a touch of curiosity in his voice.
“Damn it. Get me to post-op stat!”

“Why did they help me? Aren’t I the enemy?”
“Why do you help us? We want war over soon, too. Hawk eye almost killed trying to save my brother!” Tears came to Jo’an’s eyes and she blinked them away, but didn’t hide them. “Brother too proud—too stupid—to accept help of American.”
“Wars are stupid,” was all BJ could say.
“That what Hawk eye say. ‘They make people stupid.’”
BJ nodded his agreement.
“You want leave?” It had been several hours since his last failed attempt at freedom.
“Very badly.”
“Strong enough?”
“Good question.” He was afraid to know. Only one way to find out...With her assistance, he rose to his feet, then he smiled.
“Head O K?”
“Hurts some,” he admitted, “but not bad.”
“Want food before leave?”
“No. I don’t want to inconvenience them any more. Will you tell them goodbye and thanks for me?”
She nodded. “You no want tell them yourself?”
“Afraid Jen’a might force me to stay.”
Jo’an smiled. “You may be correct.”
She led BJ outside and spoke some words to Sin’ye and a message to pass on to his wife. Then she took BJ to the road.
A/N: I am soooo tempted, at the darned muse's urgings, to have Jo'an go along with BJ to the 4077th...but then what? Grrr...that would just prolong this fic several more parts. She is so independant that her character does whatever she wants to. First by being nice and saving Hawkeye, then by turning up (very unexpectedly) to find BJ. Now she wants to go to the 4077th!
