I am having a hard time updating about Con-con. Mainly I think it is because no amount of babbling could make it seem as awesome as it was.

So I guess I will post up a few highlights (I got wordy...so this isn't the Cliffnotes version of the highlights lol):

Guess I left off with the Cocktail party? I was expecting it to be boring. Nope!
Sat with Michelle and Amy, and Heather, who we met in the registration line. A few notes on Heather: She is the luckiest person ever! She transferred to The Governor Hotel the day before the con with no problem and got an awesome room (...it had a fireplace and bathroom that was three times as large as ours...and even the floor she was on smelled lovely!), she got interviewed in the registration line, got a lovely aisle seat in the second row for the convention. Plus a million other things, it seemed like.

Moving on, we settle in with drinks and whatever, chat some, get to know each other. Live band was playing and the music was so loud that we had to shout.

At some point, some blond-haired gal plunked herself down at our table. She had a higher pitched voice and easily spoke loud enough to be heard over everything. She started asking us some questions. We find out a bit later that she is a TNT representative and was checking in to see how we liked the Con and the show and where we all were from. Her name was Whitney. After she left, she kept bringing people to our table. At the time, I wasn't really all that familiar with the show people and I can't remember who they were (Michelle? Amy? Help? :) See, I was also stalling on this post because I am TERRIBLE with names, and needed to pick brains for info lol).

Also, Michelle has this Gingerbread doll (Gingy) that she bought in London awhile ago, and she likes to get people's pictures with him. So she made it a point to get every VIP to pose with him for a picture. And I believe she was successful. Might have missed a guest star, since I think they vacated pretty quickly. Here are the pictures:

And another fun thing...Mason. When Michelle asked him to pose with Gingy, he looked at it, shook his head and acted really embarrassed and zipped away. Michelle said that the only person to ever refuse her had been a nun. Ha! She asked him a few other times and he kept refusing. Heather took it upon herself to get him and Gingy in the same picture (those can be found on page 2 of the pics). He eventually agreed...I think the following night?...and we ended up with a very creepy picture.

Things started winding down around 10. It was reported that The Five were finishing up filming and would try to pop in to say Hi. I think they finally showed at 11 or so for a very brief sighting. No one really wanted to leave (us) even though we had a set tour early the next morning (buses left at 7am). Amy got up to go to the bathroom and when she came back, she had a bit of a story to tell.
There was a lady hanging out outside of the bathroom that told her to wait a few minutes because there was a man in there. *blink* Curious, she waited...and it was Christian Kane. "Christian Kane was in my bathroom," became a favorite quote for the weekend. And we thanked Heather, for her luck rubbed off a little on us LOL. Glad I didn't join her on the bathroom run...I would have laughed my ass off and embarrassed us both!

Pushing midnight by the time we got back and went to sleep.

Our room was right over Jake's Bar and Grill and apparently there was a lot of noise, which I slept soundly through. Michelle and Amy on the other hand....
