Where did I leave off...*goes to look* Ah, dinner.
We were all starving, so drove around to find some place to eat that we would all be happy with. We settled on Red Robin and chatted a bit (and watched a bit of a football game) while we waited for food. It kept trying to snow, but that had mostly stopped by the time we left, stuffed. We wandered around to a few shops, searching for some nice boots for Gin, but struck out and went back to the car.
We debated a bit about going back to the Bright Light's display, before finally agreeing to go because we could always crash back at the room if it sucked.
Parking was free and admission was donation only--since it was after Christmas and all. I had wanted to go look at Christmas lights here, but it had snowed most of the day and I had had to cancel. So this got me my fill of the lights for the year.
There were a few activities to do--Train ride through the lights, and a Nature Walk. The line for the train was huuuge, plus too expensive. Gin talked to the nature walk people for a bit. One of the guys had a hand puppet--some woods creature--and he was having way too much fun with it.
We wandered around some, and that was pretty much it. Here are some pictures that Michelle took that I think turned out pretty good :)
This one was my favorite:

After that, we went to the hotel, showered, and I played around with getting internet connection and seeing if there were any crisis' on Livejournal (surprisingly, there weren't).
We watched some more Peep Show. I think Gin was burned out of Mitchel and Webb, since she really didn't seem all that interested, and settled down to bed before we were done. So we finished off another episode before putting the computers to rest.
I hate sleeping in hotels because I always seem to overheat and end up thrashing about looking for a cool place. So for my last 3-4 times I have shared a bed, I just lay on top with the comforter or a spare blanket taco-shelled over me.
Stayed awake for a little bit as I tried to keep from fidgeting and doing the whole 'what side to lay on tonight??' I think I was only away for less than an hour before dropping off. I woke again when Michelle got up at some time in the AM and she disappeared into the bathroom with her laptop. I faded back off somewhere between sleep and awake, having some dream about 20 other faceless people in the hotel when Michelle did the wake up call by annoucing it was a little after 9.
Soooo, the last day I will do in the next post. Pea is being really slow and it is going to be image heavy.
Oh, and here are those two vids that Michelle took of the dolphin and whale show:
