I had some interesting fireworks this year. These little fireworks were supposed to spin on the ground and spark. One fizzled (I think Dad threw it too hard), another spun a little before dying. The third ZOOMED STRAIGHT UP INTO THE AIR! WTF? We got 8 of them for a dollar. 3 of them went into the air.
We also managed to set a pine tree on fire....yeah. Thankfully it had been raining lots the day before. The tree burned for a few minutes before finally going out. Tall tree too. It was from one of those 25-shot missile fireworks.
Didn't spend more than 15 bucks on fireworks, and we still have a handful left over :D
