Idol recap. Girls
Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010 09:56 pmI'll admit I am in a bit of a mood, and my attention isn't the best, so these are going to be short.
1. Paige Miles - I found this boring. Easy to ignore, which is what I did.
--And apparently she is sewn into her outfit...so she can't pee. Over share much?
2. Ashley Rodriguez - Weak at the start. She kinda makes spitty noises in the mike? Sounded better when it picked up tempo. I like the sound of her voice, but not right for her.
I think they are saving the good ones until the end.
3. Janell Wheeler - Pretty voice, song....meh. Okay until the chorus. The original of the song was a lot better.
4. Lilly Scott - I can't tell if it is good or not. Kinda creepy. But different type of song, at least.
--Simon has the pauses down just right to allow for the boos before he continues talking.
Because this is 2 hours long, is that why there is only one song per commercial break? Uugh!
5. Katelyn Epperly - Hate that type of song, but it was way better than the others. And I do like her. First girl that her backstory got my attention.
6. Haeley Vaughn - OMG and upbeat sounding song! Was fun to watch :) Note* My TV has some sound problems where it glitches a little during certain pitches, so whenever she held her notes, the sound wavered a little. I am assuming it was the TV and not her. So sometimes hard to tell how singers sound.
--nose piercing. Joy :-/
7. Lacey Brown - Maybe I like the original song too much...but I HATE what she is doing with it. And the way she is pronouncing some words. *shudders*
--in her package, she looks like she has demon eyes--don't see any white lol.ls are Thick eyeliner.
If Simon thinks that the girls are better than the guys this season...kinda worried about tomorrow.
8. Michelle Delamor - Finally someone you can tell right away if she can sing well or not. :D Sound good!
9. Didi Benami - Not fond of the way she is singing the song, but I do like her voice.
10. Siobhan Magnus - Eww low notes. Better when got higher. Chorus was pretty, rest sucked to me.
11. Crystal Bawersox - YAY! Fav tonight!
12. Katie Stevens - Never been a fan of the song, but she is doing a great job at it.
The last half definitely had the best singers. The rest were, as Simon would say, forgettable.
