Cue a bit of a panic attack here...
First let me backtrack, because I doubt I mentioned this earlier.

A few weeks ago, there was a meeting that was suggested I attend at work. It was an employee classification study thing that would be useful because of this self-evaluation survey every employee in all the Timberland Libraries had to fill out (plus I got paid the hour it took, heh). But the survey had tons of questions about the things that we do for our jobs. Me, being the lowest on the foodchain/totem pole whatever, didn't have too much stuff to babble about. But the main purpose of this was to see if the job titles we have weren't...right for the things we did, and a select few would be called to an interview.

I got an e-mail. For a group interview with 2 other people, who I assume are also pages like I am. Interview is 1:45pm this Monday in Tumwater at the Service Center--40 odd minutes away. I've never been there, so I pulled up a map (knowing the location relaxes me some) and am having Dad drive me. No. I don't do freeway driving or any place I am unfamilar with.

And yes, this is making me panic. Big building and people asking questions=me with sweaty palms. One benifit...I might get a pay raise. My boss was taking to me about the new program that they are doing and that it could change pay rates, but I shouldn't worry because the pay can't go down. Think it would have been rude of me to state that I get minimum wage and that had better not go down? 3 years at a position that can pay up to around 9 bucks an hour and I do twice as much as I had been told to do upon starting to work.

Oh, and I am going to try to make a habit of updating more often. Trying to aim for once every other day, even if it is an I-am-bored post. Those normally seem to be the longest ;)
Twice today, because I need to get my House ep review typed up...if I can only find the paper I scribbled some notes on *glances at notebook-covered bed*
