Firstly, because [livejournal.com profile] la_gatta_nera tagged me:

Once you are tagged you MUST write an entry about 6 weird habits/things you do/odd information, as well as state this rule clearly. In the end, you need to choose the next six people to be tagged and list their names.

Here are some thing that you probably could have done without knowing.

1) I carry notebooks everywhere I go.
2) If someone coughs near me, I hold my breath
3) I wear my underwear inside out. (What? the seams are annoying)
4) I don't eat the crust of bread. It tastes fine and all, bit I just...can't lol
5) I get obsessed with things waaay too easily
6) I say goodnight to my cat each night and she is the only thing that I say 'I love you' to.

I think just about everyone has done this meme, so not tagging.

Moving right along...

This weekend, at the Centralia library (the one that I work Sundays at in the fall), one of the upstairs hot water pipes burst. Not good. Ginny was called at 2am when the water set off the fire alarm after running for like 2 hours. The water wrecked most of the new magazines, and about 250 books, quite a few of those being ones that were on hold for patrons. It was like a swamp down stairs, I heard (not seen).
They are trying to get the building dried out asap before anything else gets damaged. Needs to be inspected closely before it gets the okay to be reopened. Looks like at least next week.
So. When I got to work today. Lew (one of our substitutes) gave me a very tired look and asked me how I was.
Me: "Peachy, so far. Still a half hour before I start work!" *big grin*
Then he threatened to smack me with a paper.
Me: "A touch violent today?" (so unlike him)
So he started in on telling me about all the extra people coming to our library to use the computers. Lew was at the point where he wanted to laugh at anyone who thought that they stood a chance of getting online. And there were like...6 boxes of books that people had dropped off to us for the other library.
Trish popped back in the staff room briefly and I asked her how she was going.
Trish: *insane laughter*
Me: "Ah. That good?"
This really didn't effect me much. My cart (of books to shelve upstairs) was crowded, but it always is this time of year. Actually got most of it done in the 3 hours that I worked.
According to the people-counter, at the end of the day, we got almost twice as many people as is normal for a Tuesday.
Oh, and I got paid today. 20 cents shy of being able to make my car payment. *cries* Looks like the 20 from the end of last month needs to last me until the 31st, when I get paid again and get to hand over most of it to Mom. *grumble*

Nori went home yesterday morning. I had only 4 hours of sleep when I was woke up to say goodbye. I think I gave her a hug...don't remember much lol.

Ick. Typed this several hours ago. It is now 4:37 and I am remembering to click the little button that says 'update' *facepalm*
