I can't beging ot count how many time I have sneezed today. And these aren't little sneezes...these are the ones where, if you try to hold them in, you will blow your eardrums out of your head! Damn! Always seems to happen right when I have something in my hands. I can never manage to set down the papers, books, etc fast enough, so I try to hold it in :-/
And it is getting close to that time of the month judging by the pimple outbreak and the fact that I want to murder something *looks around*
Other news, I am still working on Part 5 of The Present. I wanted to finish typing it today, but over half of what I have typed up isn't even in my rough draft--which is a good thing. I can be more descriptive :D Still have about a page left of barely-legible handwriting todecipher type out. Then a little afterwards and it will be finished *I'm dancing on the inside*
I heard my boss talking on the phone yesterday while I was lounging in the staff room writing before I started shelving. She was talking about a mystery donor who was thinking of donating a million to the library for us to do a remodel. She also mentioned some person--I think this guy has some sort of say on how the money gets used?--and that he was saying how he predicted that libraries will become obsolete in 20 years.
I can't remember if I mentioned this or not, but a few weeks ago we were talking about what will happen if we ever gather enough funds to remodel. Our old building will be torn down and turned into a single story (goodbye stairs!) and that we will be dispersed to other libraries to get our hours in while that happens. Everyone has been pestering me to use my paid vacation hours, so I am joking that, by the time we reach that point, I will have my max 60 vacation hours and can take 6 weeks off. They were amused, but still rolled their eyes at me. I wouldn't mind taking some time off, but I dispise the thought of having someone else up there in MY space screwing things around. Wait...that came out wrong. Plus, the only people who would be subbing for me are Lew--nice older guy. He does desperately need money. And Karren. She is older and hates our stairs.
I know...no one cares :P
3:30..supposed to be in bed an hour and a half ago and I am still stalling..bah! *goes back to typing on story*
