Thursday, June 16th, 2005 01:08 amI've been getting in the habit of playing Astonia everytime I get on the computer instead of checking my flist! (I am soooo close to being in the top 100 players list! :D ) So I remember to check the list at around 2am and it takes me almost 2 hours. And that leaves me no time to update here, even if I wanted to. Sometimes it takes me a half hour to type up an update here, and that is when I am wide awake and thinking clearly!
Anyways, on to the update...
Had my job interview yesterday. I think it went okay. I passed the book shelving test with flying colors, though my boss said that I would be in trouble if I messed it up lol. Been shelving for over a year--no pressure!
My problem with interviews is that I just can't elaborate well. They ask me a question and I answer it in one sentance of several words. I just have this bad feeling that I didn't get it.
Pretty much the only reason I want it is because I get 5 extra hours a week and about a dollar more an hour, but I love working upstairs, not sure if I would really want to give that up. Just wait til we start getting the 90 degree weather and I will be very eager to be working downstairs in the nice air conditioning :-/
Been trying to watch some of MASH S8. Got to the episode just after the Goodbye Radar ones. I use to watch an episode or two every morning, but now I have been watching Super Password on the Game show Network. I love that show! *Huggles show* and, if I am lucky, an episode of the British version of Whose Line is it Anyways? on Comedy Central.
I tuned into Hallmark and saw half of the George episode. That scene where Hawk says(I think Hawk was talking to Trapper) something about 'Do you have anything in your past that you would like to keep buried?' My mind translated "past" as "pants" 0.o Silly mind.
Loved the episode of House last night. So far they are showing ones that I had missed the first time around. Seemed like Wilson was in it more than he normally is *happy squee* I was happy that they were repeating them so that I wouldn't have to buy the set when it comes out, but I think I will end up buying them anyway since I am not recording the episodes and there are some that I would love to see again.
Downloading the new song by Jason Mraz--Wordplay, so I can't really do anything else without slowing it down. Lately I can download at 4.8! I use to be lucky to get 3.2 and I have no idea why it is running faster. *bows to the download Gods*
Rented two movies yesterday. Phantom of the Opera (for me). and Hitch (for the rest of us). Watched some of PotO (that abbr. looks like potato to me) and I am enjoying it. Really bugs me that the people aren't doing a good job of pretending to sing. Hope it gets better since it looks like there will be a lot of singing.
Hitch is amusing me a lot. Dad left after 10 minutes (which I expected) and Mom almost left until Hitch started helping out that fat guy (mean, I know, but I don't know what his name is). Mom immediately started liking him, so she watched 45 minutes instead of 20 like she said she would :D
Teh Slash is driving me crazy! Intentional or not I don't know *giggles insanely*
For something different, Dad and I went to Pizza Hut instead of Dominoes. Costs us about three times as much, so we don't go often. We ordered a Full House (X-large pizza). I ate over half of it. Now, about 10 hours later, I am still not hungry, but I have finally stopped feeling sick to my stomach.
