Saturday, November 20th, 2004 01:03 amSo much for going to bed yesterday when I said I was...I ended up staying on the computer til 4am typing up a fic. Still no where near finished with it. I woke up today and was surprised. I was wide awake and not as tired as I am when I get 2 extra hours of sleep! Still going strong lol.
I got this idea while at work...I decided to make a teaser for one of my fics, the one titled Against All Odds. And, because I am feeling nice, I will put up the teaser here..It is just like a movie trailer I guess...a lot to scenes thrown together, one right after the other. Most of these scenes I haven't had a chance to type to, but nabbed them from notes in my notebook.
( Teaser )
In other news, my yahoo messenger is being a royal pain! I think it has something to do with when someone sends me an offline message...this time, unlike last time...I was able to get the thing to work--kinda. Seemed like my "S" key had turned into the 'enter' key 0.o So if I wanted to use an s, I would have to use a 5. Oh, and can't forget that my backspace key also wouldn't work, nor the copy and paste command. I feel sorry for my friends that had to--5uffer through my cryptic me55age5 and mi55pelling5 that I am not even going to imitate here (not on purpose anyways)!
Ki (my cat) is meowing for attention. Last night, she was just about as wired as I was, zipping all over the house like a wildcat...now she is playing with a piece of litter from her box :-/
Typing long entries is fun :) providing that half of it isn't consisting with musings for what I was going to type but forgot lol.
Work at the library was fun today. Parent conference week so it was busy upstairs and it took almost a half hour to straighten everything up upstairs. This one guy kept asking me a bunch of questions, and I shocked myself by being able to answer them all! I am finally starting to get the hang of the whole "who wrote what" :D He was real nice and kept appologizing for asking me all the questions. I asked him several times if he had any more questions before I went back to my corner to shelve...he always said no, then had a question a few minutes later.
I started work 20 minutes early today because Dad had to drop me off to make an appointment. I use to just browse around until my shift started, but that would result in me finding more books to haul home that I have no time to read (got 3 all ready lined up). Too bad I don't get over time for starting early.
*wonders if anyone is still reading at this point* :P
Oh well, enjoy the teaser if nothing else of my ramblings :D
