Today was nuts! Our water heater died, had to get a replacement ASAP. Got that taken care of, then it didn't want to work, so began the process of flipping switches to see if we could get it to start. Then the breaker to the fridge got screwed up(for the 4th time in 2 weeks)--finally got everything working again.
Some of Mom's JW church friends (I think they are trying to convert Dad--NooooO!!) came by. Dad told me to basically lie and say that he had an appointment to go to...Dog was flipping out/barking/yipping the whole time I was politely speaking to them and trying to run out the door...the phone started ringing...Ahhh! Dad got in trouble from Mom for lying and he tried to switch the blame to me for stretching the lie and saying that he was LATE to his appointment. Parents, blah. I wanted to leave early for work just to get out of the house. I prefer work to home most of the time...not sure if that is a good thing or not...
