Sunday, August 15th, 2004 07:39 pmI am finally back home!!
*feels stupid* Thing was called Taste of Edmond, and Edmond is above Seattle. Took 3 hours driving on this nice fancy bus, then a half hour fairy (I think I am spelling the wrong type lol) that was quite enjoyable. The actual place, when we finally got there, was just like a big fair grounds of shops, and food stuffs. Prices were decent. We had 4 hours to walk around (too long for the heat) but there was a nice pace to sit in the shade and listen to the musicians on stage..the first group was baaaaaddd! They were blasting the music and had to shout over...they played/sung The Reason by Hoobastank (sp?) and I could barely stand it! They ruined it!! They next groups were much more enjoyable.
I didn't buy too much except a small (ha!) order of curly fries that was so large I couldn't even eat half of them!! Nummy though! Also bought a neat oriental looking coin purse, a hand blown glass figurine, and some earings for my mom cause she pouts if I don't get her anything. Oh, also got a 5 dollar bag of carmel popcorn that I will defend with my life!!
I did get to work some on the challenge *cough2pagescough* On the way home the radio was turned on and they were playing classical crap!! I hate that type of music!! (one song did sound a little like something Charles had played once) I even wrote in the middle of the challenge that 'Classical Music Drives ME Crazy!! Then, right when I got a neat idea to write down, then someone started talking to me! *cries* why not when I was absently staring out the window??
Gotta go take down the clothes now :-/ Poor feet *sniffle*
