Um...yay for NaNo breakthrough?
I have about 2 more chapters to write, then finished :D

In other news, we had another character party for one of my writing groups. We all met at one of the member's houses and had pretty good attendance for it being at a spot we normally don't meet at. We came (for the most part) dressed in character and acting in character. I dressed as Ben, my NaNo main character. Which basically required me to just put on a tighter shirt, pull my hair back, put on a ball cap, and my glasses.

After we tired of that, we all gathered in a circle to talk about our characters some which was video recorded. In reviewing back the tape...Do I always talk like that? I had a bit of an accent o.O *confused*

On the way home, I had a bit of a tickle in the back of my throat. Took some medicine before bed. Woke up with a massive sore throat. Uugh. Made it through work (Saturday) and we were a bit short staffed, as always, so it was a good thing I didn't call in sick. On Sunday I slept in until 3pm. My sore throat is the kind that tries to trigger the gag reflex. Sooo annoying. Sore throat almost gone, soon to be replaced by much nose blowing. I get this same cold every two years or so :-/

And time for bed.

Still playing around with the rough draft. I keep rereading earlier bits I have already looked over and still find a lot of tense changed I hadn't spied the first time *sigh*

Anyway, my characters are amusing me. I hadn't planned to write it like this, but one of my characters is totally flirting with my main character. And he is totally oblivious. Yes, they hook up later, but LOL. Guess he was just subtle enough for me to be oblivious as well!

I made it! With an hour last night to spare :D

I can read books again, woot!

I also haven't been on LJ in the past 4 days to check flist...This is going to take awhile to dig through everything...

*dances off*

Uugh, I haven't really felt like updating here too much for whatever reason. Went to Seattle a few weekends ago, saw an awesome play, spent part of the next day at a coffee house drinking yummy hot chocolate and working on NaNo fic and then bought tickets to Leverage Convention.
And I couldn't get up the energy to type about it, so now that the excitement is passed, I think 'what is the point' and don't post about it.

The play was called Measure for Pleasure, but the way, and is loads better than any summary makes it sound!

I guess I am making a post right now because I have to be in bed in 30 minutes, I have 40 typed pages to read and critique for a writer's meeting tomorrow night, and I need to work on my NaNo Novel.

Speaking of NaNo:

25013 / 50000 words. 50% done!
I am really supposed to be at 30k by now, but it is still catchable and I still have plenty of plot to get typed out.

Oh...I also have college to do....crap.

Why the hell am I making this post??? Ack *runs*

So, I got home at about 6:30am Sunday morning. I was thinking about going to sleep for a bit at the kickoff party, but I...never got around to it lol. I just wonder how much like an idiot I sounded! I could have written twice as much there if I wasn't so damned chatty!

Fun to make the announcement "It's 1am again!"

It was shocking to look outside at the party and realize it was getting light!

Had a decent turn out. I think 14 people showed up. Almost half stayed until morning.

Everything is funny at 6 in the morning.

The whole city was foggy as I was driving home. I love the fog :D

I slept until 3pm

Was wondering if I was going to have a hard time going to bed tonight after the late sleep in....nope. Eyes are drooping and ready to crash here!

Right now, I am supposed to be writing on my NaNo novel. I am at a write-in at the Matrix. At almost 1200 words, so I figure I could break for a few and write this post I have been meaning to to.

I took Friday off from work to go see This is It.

Dad has been feeding this black and white rabbit (it looks like it used to be a house bunny), and the rabbit likes to hide under our cars. Well, it didn't want to get out from under my car so I could leave. I got some bread and tossed it off to the side, but the rabbit just came toward me, then detoured to grab some bread and take it back under the car. Oi. I didn't want to chase it because we are trying to tame it, but damn it, I wanted to get out of there! Finally I was able to get betwen the bunny and my car and shooed it off into the woods.

First Friday showing, and there weren't all that many there. Which was too bad.
