Here is Ki chirping at me over a can of food that I give her every once and awhile as a treat:

And this is her begging for water. She does this all the time. Normally she wants me to lift her to the counter, then cries a little later to be let down. Managed to get her to jump this time:

In the first one I could read the expression on her face as..PUT. THE. CAMERA. DOWN! OPEN. THE. DAMN. CAN! my kitties often got the same look on their little faces. I used to buy them the fancy canned foods then one day the store brand went on sale and I was strapped for cash so I bought the cheap stuff. The sale was just about over so the selection was minimal. I bought like 20 cans of something called "Fishy Bits". It was fish heads in a jelly-like edible substance, I was totally grossed out by it, thought the cats will kill me in my sleep over this horrid food. But they LOVED it..went totally bonkers for it! I guess there is no accounting for taste when it comes to the feline diet code.

I can not buy any sort of fish-based wet cat food. The smell makes me feel so nauseous! Even thinking about it...eww!
