Ep 20 House Training

OMG!!!
First, a quote from Dorris' LJ:
...but must disclose that there's not as much room for chocolaty House-Wilson goodness in this episode as some might wish.
Ummm...The slash was so thick I could cut it with a butter knife lol.

I had been meaning to squee last week about the lovely H/W scenes and was planning on doubling up here, but this ep...wow, I can't even remember last week!

Okay, let's get the non-House/Wilson outta the way first (need some organization, right??

* I was just thinking as the episode started that it had been awhile since a POTW died. But then again, I have been thinking that the past few weeks ;)

* I adore Chase and his little crush on Cameron (OMG! For once, Cam didn't but me at all! I have NO complaints about her!). And it is keeping her occupied and not focussed on House...for the time being. So...Chase will ask her to go out with him every Tuesday? lol.

*Foreman isn't my favorite by a long shot--most of the time he is just kinda...there. He got some nice bits of character development in here. We got to see his Mom and how crushed he was by the end when she didn't know him *sniffle*
Loved when the POTW pointed out when he was listing his crimes "Killing a girl" OUCH! Cheap shot, but I loved it.

*Chase was being kinda overly defensive for the POTW, I thought. Trying to 'protect' her from Foreman's judgement while Foreman didn't seem to be setting off many vibes. (does anyone know what I am talking about? lol)

* I am disappointed that it wasn't Wilson who fixed up Foreman's hand after the wall-punch.

* Ooh...Wilson touched Foreman's arm ;) I was expecting Foreman's gaze to drop to Wilson's hand, then Wilson remembered to let go.

* *waits for the Wilson=Tampon icons to pop up*

* Maybe I am too into canon, but why would Chase ask Foreman if he wanted to go get drunk? (ack, slash aside! lol) Thought he would avoid the stuff because of his mom.

*Ummmmm....

*WILSON! Okay. I was bad and knew a bit about this episode from spoilers. Namely the stuff about Hector and his name stuff. Also knew about Bonnie. Buuut, loved the detail that she was a BAD realtor. And she seemed so crushed when House wasn't interested. Wonder why she was so set on proving Wilson wrong about what he had said about what House was up to. She should remember from past experience what an ass House is.

* Bonnie and House's discussion that was more about Wilson (and the 6 burners!!) than it was about the condo. I kept laughing everytime one brought up Wilson that I barely remember what was being spoken.

*House seemed too interested in the fact that Wilson was good in bed! :D You see. He is building a mental file with every detail he can get about Wilson for when it is time for him to make his move on the unsuspecting doctor.

* Love the stealing coffee bit and House finding it too sweet (something else for him to file away)

* Awww, Wilson was offering some show of support by staying with House while he waited for the potw to die and Foreman to tell him about it... *blinks*

*And then Wilson was sleeping *squee* Too bad House was pre-occupied so he couldn't set his 'move' into motion.

*The tidbit that House didn't help Wilson/Bonnie's marriage any=Yay! A nice fanon fact has become canon now :D

*Do I really need to say anything about the art gallery scenes? Okay, I need to say one thing...bicycle pump!!!

*I want to see Hector, damnit!?"

*The ear flick from House. *happy sigh*

Damn...I know there are a ton more things to babble on about. Going to watch the episode again tomorrow with Dad (he missed it tonight). Watched with Mom and she said it was the first good episode this season--she hates it when House is mean and abusive to everyone, and she actually cracked up a few times during this episode, which doesn't happen very often.

The next writer better not fuck things up!!

You may now return to your regularly scheduled programs :)

I have to watch the earflick again - I saw the flinch but didn't quite see what had happened. Also, the tampon thing was... euwww. Funny, though XD

The earflick made me incredibly happy because...this is just like season 1 is oficially back again.

Ear flick? Ear flick!!?? You are taunting me with slash details! I am waiting right now for a friend to bring a copy of the episode because I missed most of the middle (storms). I am now about to explode from anxiety!!!!

Oh that's awful that you missed the middle! Hope your friend pulls through to get it to you!

Oh, man, this was the first episode since well before the season two finale that gave me the old ":D :D :D :D OMFGSQUEE *dabs a tear*" feeling again. It was so genuinely good.

*House seemed too interested in the fact that Wilson was good in bed! :D You see. He is building a mental file with every detail he can get about Wilson for when it is time for him to make his move on the unsuspecting doctor.

Haha, unsuspecting! WILSON IS PLANNING IT ALL. ;D

I totally saw the whole discussion with Bonnie as House slowly realizing that either Wilson was going to seduce him, or he wanted to sleep with Wilson now to see if Bonnie's right. (I know the writers are on to the fangirls and like to throw little slashy gags in, but I didn't see many other ways to interpret that whole thing about "He becomes your friend first and is always there for you", and that OMG look on House's face.)

And, AUGH! The "My son is named Eric" line broke my heart.

Yep, I really, REALLY liked this one.

...writers are on to the fangirls and like to throw little slashy gags in...
Not this writer! She never seems to go for the subtle when it comes to slash :D The last ep I felt this happy about was the Son of a Coma Guy ep that Dorris also wrote.
Great Foreman stuff that didn't have me rolling my eyes. The look on his face when his mom didn't recognize him.. D-':

It was *so* great. I love reading all the squeeing going on in people's journals :)

It's hard to believe that it's only a few weeks ago that I was watching House with a pencil and paper to note down the times of Wilson's brief appearances, so that I could re-watch them again afterwards. 2, or maybe 3, brief entrances seemed to have developed into the norm.

I *so* hope they don't cock it up again between now and the end of the series.

yeah, Wilson was in it tons! And the scenes in between his 'sightings' were good, too. The only time I looked at the clock was to see if there was enough time for some miracle for the patient...at 15 minutes to go, nope. Normally I am always checking to see how long it has been since RSL last appeared. lol.

Well, the past couple eps have been having good H/W scenes, so I think they have been given the go that everything is back to normal...*fingers and toes crossed*
