randoM (With a capitol M)

Digging though the stacks and stacks of wrapping paper and sorting out all the holiday ones to throw away (mom is a JW and doesn't do them -.-), I found a wrapped little package. It had probably been in that cupboard for close to 5 years at least. Somehow Mom knew what it was and I begged and she said I could have it! Yay! A prezzie! So I opened it. It was "an" Harmonica lol! And not one of those cheap things that sound like crap. This is a nice one! I get a metalic taste in my mouth from playing it...It had been packaged too long. Hope that taste goes away, ick!

Watched Providence and, damn it! Now I keep thinking of Jim/Sam pairing! Those sideways glances! AH!

Dad's Birthday is..I guess today since it is 2am. Spent 40 bucks on a gun pricing guide. *Sigh* That is what happens when I am in a hurry and have no time to find anything a little cheaper.

Mom's gotten something that resembles the flu. She went to bed at about 6pm and has hardly budged in that time.

Can't think of anything else to add to that...

woah. that's scary.

i've been writing my christmas cards all afternoon- so what a coincidence! oh, and savage garden? like truly madly deeply savage garden? *sighs* why, oh why, is all the australian music that takes off in the states crap? just look at Jet for example...

I was originally trying to find Dad something similar that I knew was like 30 bucks. Guess I will have to track that down for his Christmas present.
I love Savage Garden :P Especially Crash and Burn. T-M-D has been played a tad too much, kina sick of that song. Jet, IMO sucks. I did hear a recent song on the radio that sounded good by them..so who knows :)

You're probably not going to believe this - and I shall post a picture one of these days to prove that it's true - but I have a didgeridoo in my bedroom. I can't play the darn thing - it's a beauty though, so instead I went to the libary, found a cd by some guy named Alexandre and copied half of the songs. It's all didgeridoo music - drives my folks crazy :p

Oh, we had to study Australian slang during the last year of secondary school -- I loved it.

Ciao

didgeridoo
Any easy way to explain what that is? lol

a stick with a hole in it that you blow and make music with!

Hmmm that explains a lot...yet so little at the same time...

i'd like to see the proof!!!

no i believe you. i'd think that there are more tourists owning didgeridoos than actual australians. but i hope you're not playing it!!! women aren't allowed to, so dictates the culture

hahahhaha. oh, please try some on me- though i probably won't understand you. but i can always give you more
what a strange unit of study!!
