Welcome to the new members of the family...

(Ignore the ugly fingerprints LOL)
This is so much bigger than my old one. And it has a back-lit keyboard :D
Still working on getting everything looking like I want it to. I had been using Vista and having it look like Classic Windows. And this is running Windows 7, which is kinda ugly. I have Firefox, had to reinstall the Quick Launch toolbar (WTF did they remove it?) and am slowly moving my music over.

They had a special on the Minis, if you got a Studio computer. So Mom is going to get to use that one. Working on teaching her how to use it. The touchpad is really small and tricky to use, and Mom keeps clicking instead of moving the mouse because she is making such small movements with it. Got her all set up with her own e-mail account

I think we have the same laptop! :) Windows 7 is really ugly, and the first thing I did was Google around and find some hints for settings that would make it look like Classic Windows on the desktop. The rest you just have to become accustomed to.

Cool :D

Yeah, I went looking for how to add the quick launch, though I have yet to figure out how to get it in the right (haha left) location.

I am also having problems with the touchpad scroll...When I double click to grab onto an internet page scroll bar and then use the touchpad scroll to move it down...it doesn't release it instantly like my other laptop did, if that even makes sense lol
That and the location of the delete, home, end, page up, page down buttons are taking some getting use to :)

The touchpad seems really tenacious on mine, too. Most of the time I use a wireless Logitech mouse -- it's small and does not need a mouse pad -- and it's much less frustrating.

The Windows 7 Media Player regularly drives me to cursing because it keeps defaulting to that float-y display for people who do not read. I haven't yet figured out a way to make it look like the older version. :)
