Emmy Awards and stuff

Well, that just sucked, and I don't mean the awards



Not looking forward to all the whining and complaining about the Hugh/House loss. Of course I wish they would have won, but bashing the shows that did is just plain stupid.

The show was...boring this year. The 'big jokes' seemed to fall flat and only get a few chuckles here and there. I kept zoning out and missing who was being nommed for what. I was just counting down until it was over, with the very small hope that House would win.




Prison Break tomorrow!! The previews make it look so awesome!

Working 5 extra hours on Tues-Thurs next week, and will be making about 2 bucks more than I do normally for those hours. Will be nice :D
I also need to schedule some training time in at the big library in the area...been stalling because I hate how busy it is there at times and I don't want to be behind the desk. Will have to be after next week, because of those extra hours. Waiting for an e-mail reply to that as well as to if I got in on some training classes for next month.
I love my job...we get trained for all this stuff, and we get paid for the training and the miles to get to the training spot, and the drive time.
And also next month, I am on jury duty *sigh* (see, michelleann68, I still remember!...so far)
Speaking of michelleann68, had a nice little visit with her Friday and Sunday on her way to/from Portland. Wish the Friday visit was longer, but I had to leave for work. Was 2 minutes late, but no one cared, hehe.
The City Hall building, which was next to the old library, was knocked down last Monday. So now all the junk can get cleaned up and the new library can start to be built. :D

Need to make a seperate brother update with pics and a video or two...need to wait until a few downloads finish and I restart Pea...he is getting slow. Oh, and after the ebay item I am bidding for finishes (Sims2: Pets). Been wanting for awhile, but keep running low on money. Been outbid, so going to try a last minute bid. Last time I tried that, I got sidetracked and forgot until an hour after the fact ^.^

Sopranos won for Drama...which was what was predicted. Can't remember who won over Hugh. Should be listed on line somewhere ;)

!!Prison Break!! Just saw Went on Ellen today (Ellen asked him to take his shirt off, I almost died. Yeah, he didn't, but he's definitely too sexy for his shirt.) He even brought Ellen a gift. It was a drinking bear because Ellen use to have a cigarette-dispensing donkey on her show. How sweet!

I actually watched part of that interview. Missed like a minute or so from the beginning.
Sad he didn't comply with the shirt...or at least flash some skin ;)

here's a quick recap of the first minute. Went walked out with a winning smile (I still feel the urge to scream whenever he appears on screen). He waved to the audience, and everyone was clapping and wooting. Walked over to Ellen, and gave her a quick hug (awww, I want one too!) As soon as he said down, he reached behind his chair and pulled out a large gift bag. Ellen said something about how she loves the name Wentworth. And they talked about how Went quit smoking recently. He said he only had four or five cigarettes in the last eight months, and didn't use the patch because chemicals were what got him into it in the first place. Went also mentioned that he's gotten addicted to his blackberry instead. They also showed a clip of tonight's epi. Don't know how much of this you saw... I was staring at his hands a lot because he was fidgeting just a tiny bit. It's adorable.

I came in just as he was talking about the smoking and watched until the commercial break....was there anything after the break? I thought that the interview was over with at that point.

No, you were right, nothing after the commercial break. I think they might have cut the interview short because all the Emmy stuff Ellen was showing in the beginning of her show.

How did you like the ep? I was touched by how much Michael cared for Sarah. (I doubt Sarah is with LJ like the kidnappers claimed.)

Ep was good. Still need to get back into the swing of things...forgotten a lot of last season lol.
Loved the fight stuff and that Michael took the advice and went for the kneecap. Was hoping that he would actually be the one to kill the guy, though.

I'm not too fond of Sarah ;) Never have been. But I did know that it wasn't her body in the morgue.
