It was written a few years ago as an apocalypse/smut challenge.
Summary: The world is over, and it’s a Winchester’s lot in life to cope with anything – no matter what.

I was hooked from the very first line:
The world ends while they’re asleep.

I normally don't read Sam/Dean, but this was just so wonderfully written and a very slow and believable buildup to their relationship. It is just so heartbreaking as they come to realize that they are the end of the human race.
