Was a busy week
This last week was just crazy, as far as work goes.
Now, normally I only do 10 hours a week. Our Aide was vacationing and I was asked if I could fill in her hours on Tues, Wed, Thurs. She works 5 hours a day. So I got an extra 15 hours (and the pay is a little better--since I got the training, I can actually work as her position, if that makes sense).
Tuesdays are extremely busy. Tons of books being returned and a lot brought in with the courier fromother libraries. So I shelved for 5 hours(and did the mail and walked it to the post office). Took an hour long break. Then went back for 3 more hours to shelve books for my regular hours. Oww
Wednesday and Thursday I worked a total of 7 hours each day, though things were less busy.
On Thursday, I actually had a hard time taking the steps out of the basement because of all the bending, crawling, reaching, etc I was doing.
And, even now, I am having a hard time...not doing anything. Sitting still for more than a half hour makes me antsy. When I got home on Wednesday, I ran to get the mail and back to try to burn off some of the extra energy.
So thrilled last night to be able to say up later than 1-2, since I had to get to work at 10.
I hope that next week is nice and calm. Monday won't be...need to be in Centralia for 4 hours behind the desk training. If all goes well, I won't need to schedule another 4. Though if I get paid for it, maybe I should bumble things around a bit? ;)
