Not surprisingly, my first LJ fandom was Harry Potter, then Velvet Goldmine briefly, but then I jumped to Brokeback Mountain, then to House (although I'm surprised House didn't come first). I've been making like a cricket on speed for the past four(ish) years now :D
I suppose I liked Hawk the best because I identified the most with him. Very smart, but cynical and sarcastic with a very quick/barbed sense of humour. But Hawk and I both have a good heart lurking in there, and are often disgusted with humanity and deeply hurt by things for all the cynicism.
Actually, I liked Sydney Friedman a lot too (I stole his thing of writing to Sigmund Freud), but that's more my psychology wonk/intellectual side talking. We'll say that he and Hawk are tied as my favourite.
Hmmm...I watch M*A*S*H, House, and E.R. And there was this one paramedic show that I caught a bit of and it was quite good for a show on Nickelodeon (the new version, anyway) that had Shawn Ashmore (aka Iceman) in. Can't remember for the life of me what it was called though.
